@KeklordTV Pretty sure that was the US when it toppled imperial Japan, protected Korea from being completely overrun by communist militants, and attempted to introduce market capitalism to China. China on the other hand starved their own people after Mao took over and puts them in concentration camps to this very day. Aside from North Korea, China's main role in "giving" freedom to the east is demonstrating the stark difference between it and other countries in the region with actual freedom, like Taiwan. In fact were it not for the US's protection, China would have invaded Taiwan long ago and stripped the people there of their freedom.

They have that attitude because there are 1.4B of them and only 14 of those majestic creatures in all of China. Maybe there are a few other small groups scattering in a few other pockets in southern China; but humans have already taken every thing from these large creatures, except some tiny, unconnected national reserves and parks. So it's not the elephants who are wandering into human villages; it's humans who've taken over all of these mighty creatures traditional range, which their ancestors have been using for millions of years.

@陆永冬 to translate what you said roughly: In China, elephants, giant pandas, Siberian tigers and many other animals belong to the national first-class protection animals. Poaching is dealt with harshly, or possibly even shot! No one would do that, at least not in China. On the contrary, the villagers along the way are very tolerant and friendly to the elephants going north, even if the elephants have damaged their private property. Therefore, you don't have to worry about this.
