Thank you, your walk reminded me of such wonderful memories. I worked a summer season here in 94. I had a room near the old Esso petrol station on the main strip. I worked as a waiter on the main strip and then got a second job serving breakfast in Messonghi. Every night after work I'd have a few beers in a bar that now looks like a clothes shop. All the places I remember have gone but the buildings and roads are the same. And somewhere in those olive groves once stood a restaurant called Basil's Hideaway, a quiet place run by a lovely couple who would occasionally entertain the British actress Joan Collins.
