This food should last 15-20 years stored in a closet away from light.
Thank you very much for watching and God bless

I oven canned boxed pancake mix and plain corn meal in 2020. I am now using the pancake mix and the cornmeal and pancakes made now after 2+ years tastes great and the
Cornmeal made into cornbread tastes great and there are no bugs at all in it. I don’t plan on this method lasting 15 years because I’m rotating my storage.

tomatoes are easy. You boil water on the stove top, put whole tomatoes in for 15 sec. and put aside and remove skin. Put the tomatoes, I chunk them up, and then water bath them for 15 min. and I do 5 min. pressure cooker. Some people put lemon juice with tomatoes 1/2-1 tsp. for pints, 1-2 tsp for quarts.

Appreciate the video… But although you already know this… Placing cool jars in a hot bath of boiling liquid increases your chances for cracking the glass and or breaking them all together. I think you can accomplish your desired intentions without using vinegar it’s simply using boiling water… It will do the same thing.

Like with pressure canning you have to replace the oxygen with steam and that’s the reason it kills the botulism. With heating it doesn’t kill it. You have to remove the oxygen to kill it.
