  • The New Zealand Herald of Arms co-ordinates the ceremonial aspects of the State Opening of Parliament. This is his 24th State Opening.
    The New Zealand Herald of Arms Extraordinary was appointed by Queen Elizabeth II. He ranks among His Majesty’s Officers of Arms and is a Member of the Royal and Governor-General’s Households. His duties include acting as the formal channel of communication, and liaison, between New Zealand and that department of the Royal Household which looks after heraldic and ceremonial matters, the College of Arms in London. Mr O’Shea was the first appointee to the position and has held the role since 6 February 1978. In his role as Herald he has seen ten Governors-General.

    Bs mate English took the blueprints from Rua kenana it's Ruas house taken over by the English.. Rua kenana was an ancient Maori architect .. you English need stop claiming what isn't yours in the first place
