I think what inspired me most in this video was the beginning: harvesting from books and magazines to save space! And you know what you have to work with! I did love seeing your stash and hearing your ideas! And yay for your word collection! So much fun to create with those! Hugs to you, Meg!
It is strangely satisfying to watch someone else work at something you love to do. I realize now that I have thrown away some images that would have made really cute embellishments because I just didn't look at them the way that you do. I'm excited to go through my stash with a fresh eye!
Thank you for sharing your process Meg. I got so many wonderful nuggets and tidbits from watching this video! Now I just want an all day session of going through my magazines to harvest images❤. TYFS
Lots of fun stitches and the green thread with different tones is a super fun touch. If I was to pick a favorite, might be the campbell’s soup can. I love the quirkiness of the food ones.
So much inspiration! I can’t wait to go through my old magazines again with a new way of looking at the images. I love the cards and tags you created. This was a really fun video. TYFS!
I love all the journal cards, but my favorite is the Campbell's soup can! 🥰 The retro advertising is so cool. I just got a couple of Better Homes and Gardens magazines from the 50's. 🥰🤩 Can't wait to dive in & make some cards, tucks & pockets!😊
Just saw carries happy mail from you and she suggested this particular video and im glad she did. I love that you showed so many examples and options. Fun thanks😊❤for all the great ideas
Hello Meg!!! Thank you for the inspiration!! I need to go through my vintage magazines and books! I definitely would love to free up some space in my craft room!! Love the journaling cards!! The stitching was the perfect finishing touch!!! 💐💐💐Marnel🇨🇦
Hi 👋 Meg! Checking in here👍LOVE your style and you have great taste! Much like my own😌lol Some day I want to be able to stitch around - x - x - x - Tags & cards. You are DEFINITELY an inspiration to me. And those ads are soooo cool!
Do you ever have issues with the image lifting from the card stock when using glue stick? I have tried everything under the sun and this is the most frustrating to me. Maybe I am doing something wrong!
@@leannreid5961 I do sometimes! So if I don’t sew around it, I add a thin bead of glue on the edges and keep the glue stick just in the center of the images.

So cool! My sister's favorite perfume was Emeraude. I never cared for it but it smelled good on her. Really great ideas!

@@Lamb716 hi Mardell! Thank you! These are fun to make. I didn’t have any time to make more today….😢…maybe tomorrow. Hope you’re doing well!
Very inspiring! I recently went through some vintage magazines and cut out the parts I wanted to keep. I’ll try these techniques eventually.
