    Heyyyyyy there! I'm SO LATE to this party ... However you showed up on my timeline...I just had a quick question to see if you are still dealing with SD? I watched both of your videos .... And i just wanted to submit to you a few other points.
    I am currently a student of the American Academy of Hair and Scalp Diseases, and will be getting my Certification next year as a Functional Trichologist.... My Educator is BEYOND AAAAAAAAMAZING and teaches us how to get to the ROOT cause is the issue.
    You transparency was refreshing so thank you for that... You had a few statements that i again wanted to provide to you a different narrative because based on holistic health... EVERYTHING begins on your Gut.... So although you stated it has nothing to do with you diet.. It actually does-- it starts there and THEN you navigate and assess your other body systems from there .. In addition to lifestyle practices, (stress levels-- like you started! Lol) and you as a WHOLE individual. Topical remedies are only temporary.... Which is why If you get to the REAL issue of the problem .. You can potential eradicate the issue...SD, all together AND understand the moments when you may be inflamed/ having a flare up ..
    I'm not going to leave a novel in your page, however, i just wanted to share my thoughts with you.
    God Bless and have an AMAZING day!

    so important to have a trichologist!

    I saw a trichologist because I had contact dermatitis for 5 years! My GP was trying to help but couldn't do anything. After seeing the trichologist, I was cured in 3 weeks. I thought I was going bald from alopecia. It was not good for my mental health at all. I felt so good after the itching and soreness and irritation stopped. Lol! My trichologist was black also.

      @@ChumaSoko thanks I definitely recommend it to anyone with long term scalp and hair issues.

      @@ChumaSoko I forgot to add: Try pre pooing your ends to protect them from the scalp treatment shsmpoo. I originally used African Pride pre poo but I've been using up some oils and it still works. I no longer put oil, butter or grease on my scalp. It's too heavy for my scalp and probably caused irritation. So now I only use a scalp gel and/or spray. Very light products. I shampoo my scalp weekly. So far so good. Definitely monitor it to see if there are any flare ups or completely cured! I know I can get flare ups from ingredients in conditioners so I'm vigilant now on how my scalp reacts.

      oh wow what is CCCA?

    • @lumaspham
      @lumaspham 5 месяцев назад

      @@ChumaSokoit’s a form of alopecia that starts in the center of the scalp/head. For several years, derms were prescribing me solutions for Seb derm. None of them actually scoped my scalp. I noticed it was getting worse plus my hair was shedding a lot from the root. Went to a very good stylist who is a trichologist. Scoped my scalp and recognized the CCCA on top of seb derm. She treated my scalp, gave me a regimen and sent me to a black derm - diagnosed the ccca and got me on an antibiotic! It’s been about 6 weeks now and it’s 100% better!!! No itching! Minimum flare ups and even though I have some scarring, it’s not a lot and I have a good chance to recover some of the hair loss! Thankfully, I have a head full of hair so most people can’t tell!

    The problem is getting rid of the problem which is seborrehic dermatisis which I already know I have it I don’t think I need to visit a specialist for that so the real question is did your trichologist treated your seborrehea ?
