I'm not sure if you're aware of it but another item to always check (especially if you're buying the fragrance again in a few years time) is the formula code. V&R is produced by L'Oreal's Luxury Products. Every L''Oreal produced fragrance (YSL, Armani, etc.) has an F.I.L. code on the back of the fragrance box on the last line of the ingredients. FIL stands for Fragrance Ingredients List. When that code changes, that's how you can tell the the fragrance has been reformulated. Batch codes won't do it. You'll possibly see different ingredients or a change in the order of the ingredients. Dior also has formula codes on all their boxes. That's why it's advisable to never throw away boxes and for YT reviewers to always mention formula AND batch codes in their reviews.

Appreciate you for the video man, people are paranoid about discounters on online forums 😂 I have never got a fake from well known discounters. The only exception I make is for Dior and Chanel, I buy these from authorized retailers since they barely get discounted anyway.

Not only are fragrances over priced in stores- most of everything on the shelves is heavily reformulated and have poorer performance then its vintage versions. The fact the online retailer tho removed the serial code pisses me off- there was no need to de-face / taint the collectable box.
U can get good deals but you have to be careful. If the deal is to good to be true it's probably fake. There isn't any regulation your just buying from random people. A lot of fakes nowadays are getting really close. Certain brands like D&G and versace it's easier to tell. Because the cellophane wrap is always lined up perfectly over versace or the D&G at the top of the box. Never seen a fake that was lined up properly.
I tried this with Sauvage and yes it was a fake! I will never buy designer Fragrance form a source that's not an authorized seller. Not saying all discounters are that way but it's a gamble. you are better off looking for clones.

Discounter sometime just have flaws in packaging, didn’t pass quality control.
