Was in Puerto the year he won X-Games. During one of the freesurfs he was out and the way he navigated the crowd, current, wind, effortlessly going right backdoor or left and throwing crazy roostertails on what a later saw was a Lost quad was amazing!

I respect Wardo as a surfer so much. But you really have to respect the journey this guy is always on. What a legend. I do one Mexico road trip and I need a month to recover, not Wardo he never stops never needs to recover, he just keeps going, that search and dedication to surf is what I respect Wardo for more then anything.
