A Nerd who is Nostalgic pulled off a pretty good comeback there. Anyway, it was fun to see you folks all together. The only one of these I don't already watch is Paul and frankly, it sounds like his channel is my kind of thing. I'll have to check it out!
I am American and I remember this show very much! I actually like the UK version better and you've done it justice here. Bob Holness and Bill Cullen would be proud.

YT collaborations are great, seeing Mr. Biffo doing the rounds is a good thing, and Octav1usKitten is really doing good stuff too. That Ashens though, unsure, seems a bit of a seedy character.

I anticipated finding a Nostalgia Critic-related comment in regards to this, and I was not disappointed. Yes, Ashens did make a better gameshow vid.
To be fair, this is a preestablished format. Blockbusters is massive part of UK culture, for some bloody reason.

He does a lot of similar style of things to this already on the Barshens channel.
He doesn't host classic game shows on Barshens though. I would watch a whole series of blockbuster if Stuart Ashen was presenting.
Stuart's brand of abstract comedy works wonders for a format like this. Paul Gannon mentioned how he had grown a bit bored and desensitized with the repetitive monotony of his sofa review format...shit like this beats what most youtubers opt for (celebrity product reviews, mimicking other formats) anyday

Yes, the 90s were good. TV and music was decent and the great people hadn't died. So many great musicians and other famous people died in 2017/18.

There is 1 Blockbuster surviving in America IIRC. Sadly none survived in the UK. Ah I miss that job, Assistant Manager at a tiny little Blockbuster where we were lucky if we made £75 a day in takings, spent most of the time with a portable DVD player behind the desk and watched films (you weren't suppose to do that but our Area Manager turned up once every six months). It was a lazy mans dream job.
I mean yeah the writing was on the wall at least for that store, our takings had become piss poor in the last 3 years of business (I can remember when it was actually busy) but we didn't expect the entire company to fold and had to find out through second hand means that the company had gone into administration.
Alaska has the last 11 survive because internet streaming costs so much renting dvds is the only affordable way

Yes, it was a radio play of Moonraker (I think) but it was before the movies started.
Technically there is an American who did Casino Royale first but he played 'Jimmy Bond' and as the character isn't American and is never known as Jimmy in the books/movies that doesn't count.

Turns out that's not actually enough to have a child taken in to care. I feel so failed by the system.

Well, they sort of do. This was done in the RUclips Space in London, where TONS of stuff is filmed.
This is wonderful, I'd like to see more of it, it's all great, but also I would like to say that I found it hilarious that Mr Biffo answered the question on Google Buzz by repeatedly asking if he could buzz in, and then completely failing the question. I thought he was being snarky and rubbing it in!

Eh, some were easy, some were less so. I got most of them, but I think it would depend on where your interests lie. I wouldn't have been able to get the Minecraft one if you gave me a hundred years.

Blockbusters was by far my favourite 80's gameshow about hexagons, presented by Bob Holness then revived poorly by Simon Mayo.
Simon Mayo's version is fine. It's not as good but it's fine.
I am not gonna lie that is like, still one of the best opening songs for a game show.
