Haven't used Github in years, I'm a full stack developer turned sys admin haven't had to use it. Getting into Security now and I want to code again and Github has changed alot. I chose your video because it was the shortest. But it was very good, don't need to watch any others now, so that gave me the time to write this thank you statement, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE . You have a new subscriber, hoping all your tutorials are thing well structured.
@@janetsawari1677 agree, back in my day it was subversion that everyone used. But I hated subversion, seemed too complex for no reason. Git and Github, any beginner can pick it up
I haven't done programming in many many years. I've been a mathematician for quite a while now and have gotten kind of bored so now I'm going and relearning programming and figured GitHub would be a good thing to know about. Your video is very informative, I greatly appreciate it.
Thanks a lot for this tutorial! I'm a grad student in the AI/ML field and new to Python coding. I've always been afraid to use Github but you made it so easy to understand! 🙌🏽
AWESOME tutorial. I was in a fog regarding Github. I was wondering how I could benefit from it. Now after following your clear instructions I feel more confident and understand how it will help me collaborate with my grandson who is commencing programming courses at college this fall.
Git and Github can be a huge topic requiring at least 1-2 hours to fully cover. But thanks for this quick tutorial coz that's all I was looking for, at least for now :)
Thanks a million, Anson, I am nontechnical staff and brand new to Git, your this video helped me bypass the complex bash cmds and use the Git Desktop which i had only downloaded but didn't know to use. Super informative, yet so simple! Love little surprises in life.

The people making such videos should know that they should keep making such videos because all such softwares and platforms change a lot over a period of time and the related youtube-tutorials become redundant over time.
Extremely helpful - succinct, clear examples, concise. Thank you so much. I'm following The Odin Project in setting up GitHub using the Terminal, and it feels like it's going over my head. You helped simplify things.

Thank you so much for this helpful video, without any music or nude pictures. I was just trying to upload some codes in C on Github. For learning how to upload, I searched on Google and find this short video. Unexpectedly, this short video helped me!

Cool you would think that a repository system would be priority lesson 1 at a university, however mine has mention nothing about them and now I need a portfolio for internships. This helps a ton. Thanks!
Yes, that should be one of the first things. I'm more of a freelance coder and didn't use repositories before - wow it makes everything so much easier.
I normally use PyCharm but for some reason it wasn't acting nice with my github repo. Then I tried working in command line and AGAIN it wasn't working with my repo... This saved me! Thank you!
