Jose has a beautiful voice. I personally like Mario Lanza's interpretation at The Royal Albert Hall with just him and the piano. Unreal emotion and passion that was typical of Mario.

Personnellement je préfère la version de Pavarotti, même si j'aime bcp Carreras, je pense qu'il a possède plus de volume sonore, comme sur "sembiante" ou le "Ahimé!!" De fin. Apres j'écoute de l'opéra de puis peu (après g que 16 ans😅...) et donc je m'y connais très peu

I don't know but can think of two reasons he might have done it one it could have been a kiss to his mother who died when he was 18 or a kiss to god for his survival from Leukaemia
