Jerry Do you have a recommendation of which whirlpool/maytag top loader to buy? and do you know if the Warm on those machines alternate between Hot and Cold or have both valves on all the time? thanks!
It's really difficult to make a recommendation, because all of those machines have their own flaws.
If I had to pick something it would probably be something like Pat's 4616 or the higher 4816. Possibly the commercial counterparts, but I'm not sure what I think about the value of those machines. I feel like they are priced a little high for the quality you're getting.
Some alternate, some do both at once. I am pretty sure the 4850 line and above (impeller, agipeller) alternate, while the 4616/4816 and commercials alternate to an extent, but they do open both valves when set on warm.
I don't know of any WP machine, commercials included, that don't temper the hot water to some extent on some settings.

@@Smurdle450 I can tell you water hammer is a real thing with the Whirlpool commercial. The 4616 was tame. This literally hammers the pipes throughout the house just like my 2010/11 Maytag Bravos X did. I might quite possibly put the 4616 back in

f&p is a complete different brand to beko? f&p is owned by haier and beko by arcelik, don't think they cooperate.
