First of all, Kamala Harris never said that. 2nd of all, universal health care would not 'eliminate' private insurance. It would mean that everyone who already pays for insurance would pay less, but EVERYONE has access to health insurance in a system that cuts cost by being not for profit. Those who want or can afford more health insurance would still be able to purchase more.
