Eis que a música que começa a tocar chama-se "Leave a light on" ("Deixe a luz acesa"), do Duran Duran. Será alguma mensagem do além? Será que eu fui "chipado" e já estou sendo observado? kkk Não acredito em coincidências. Uma ou outra de vez em quando tudo bem. Mas quando elas começam a acontecer frequentemente, não pode ser o simples acaso. Ou eu sou observador demais. Melhor voltar a trabalhar logo no ritmo "normal" (sim, não é porque são "férias" das aulas que nós paramos de trabalhar (há uma infinidade de trabalhos a serem feitos que não cabem aqui). Alright. August 1st, 2020. Brazilian winter break is over. I've entered that phase of the pandemics (or would it be a consequence of the isolation?) when things start to speak with me. Today I've got home, and as usual, I turn my Philips Maxsound (no sponsorship*; who also has one will understand me better) on and shut down that blue light that keeps blinking while the device plays, (with the remote control, it goes from the mode "light on" to mode "light off"). Then the display shows the song playing "Leave the light on", Duran Duran. Is that a kind of message from beyoooond? I don't believe in coincidences. Ok, one or another, alright. But when they happen frequently, it can't be just by chance. Or I'm just a great observer. Better go back to work asap in the "normal" rhythm. But what is normal now? (Yes, not because it's school break, that we are not working (there is an infinity of work to do that don't fit in here). But what's normal now? I am more introspective than the average Brazilian, I should have already be used to these existential crises. Maybe occupying my head with work and good thoughts helps a while LOL...

Been a big Duran fan since they first started but this just doesnt cut it for me. I find it really dull and whiney. There are better tracks on the album. Even Early Summer Nerves (American CD only! Grrrr) is better than this. Duran have a habit of loving the songs I hate and disliking the songs I love. They loved the awful american remix of the album Rio when the original was far better. It's all good though, at least they are still writing, performing and getting some airplay. Keep going guys!!
