I remember someone saying that sexual sin is one of the most dangerous and horrible sins not because its hard for Him to forgive but because its one of the sins that is the hardest to recover from. I've come out of sexual sin from porn addiction and masturbation, and I still experience its side effects to this day--thoughts, unwanted feelings of arousal. But please do not lose heart, God sees you and He is slowly and faithfully working it out of your flesh. Be strong, brothers and sisters. He that overcomes the world is in us. ❤
Amen brother. I used to struggle with this sin when I became born again. I would feel disguised after it. For a man I believe that it one of the hardest to overcome! But by His grace we can overcome this sin 🙏🙏
Female past sufferer here. The REASON that I KNOW with my entire heart and mind that Jesus is real, is because once I read the Bible for the first time entirely, my extreme addictions to lust faded and died. I am actually free. I know that he looses chains, because an inescapable prison cell in my life that ruined my heart and soul, and hurt my friends and loved ones, that took my dignity... was removed. It was impossible. I tried. I beat myself, I cried, I hurt myself and it never ended, not until the impossible became possible..through Jesus Christ. My lord, and truly, my Savior.

I lived a promiscuous lifestyle for many years. It's extremely harmful to your sense of self-worth, your value, and it is an addiction. I'm so, so thankful that Jesus saved me. I've been married nearly seven years now and we both have given our lives to Christ after nearly divorcing earlier this year, and Jesus saved our marriage 💙
Celibacy suits me fine. I’ve been there and it was like a prison. I feel like knowing Jesus needs to make a difference to your life. If you have ever experienced the unconditional love of God and his forgiveness, then turning back to screwing around like every other lost soul on Saturday night, is to diminish the gift God gave you and the love He showed you and it’s freedom. And I learnt that the hard way. And I got hurt. And society has just got more lost since then. You don’t know who you are until you know Gods love. When you’ve got that as a guide, your life has a meaning. I love how Paul wrote that he was still striving toward the goal.
Yes! Amen! He strengthened me to ONE time turn away with the words "because I love Jesus" and He took it all away from me in that moment. 36 years of this sinful need, fulfilled entirely in minutes. I was sexually assaulted and introduced to porn as child of 8. It was a part of me for 40 years. I am still in therapy and have rare lapses. I am working hard to eliminate it with Gods help. I know what you are saying is true however in one sermon you said you were tired of men making excuses for being addicted to it. I make no excuses because I love Jesus and want to do what He wants me too.

I help run our churches recovery program and accountability is so important. Sobriety is important, but integrity is more key, confession when you do mess up (not a license to sin though). this is very true, i became deranged and psychotic with the wrong person, nearly became homicidal, filled with revenge and a strong desire to kill, was completely possessed with rage, it got so bad where my body was starting to give out on me, felt like i was going to get a heart attack based on how deeply disturbed my soul had become, sleep paralysis, incubus and succubus attacks, visions of my family being brutally murdered, i was entirely crazy, until i had enough and received deliverance at a local pentecostal church. my mother never stopped praying for me. i am so thankful for her. but it’s scary, i would have never chose to come to the lord until i was forced to by the weight of my sin, that’s how stubborn and hard my heart was

As someone who has been consumed by sexual sin and knows the hardship of overcoming it, I pray for you reader I pray that God helps you as he has helped me, I pray that you stand firm in your faith and deep in Gods word. I pray that you call out to God for help whenever you feel as if you've hit a wall or Temptation strikes you fierce and lastly I pray that if you do fall then help is only a prayer away. Im in tje the pit of despair now. I have allowed temptation to swallow me up. I do not know how to stop it. When I pray, I fall again and again... I feel like I'm doomed and death approaches rapidly. I just want to be free from this sin. I hate myself for this. I have turned completely away from God. I feel hopeless.

I was about 5 or 7 and my sister Olga had a friend named Natasha (both names from Russia even though we're Hispanics), who used to kiss me on my mouth when I was a child, long story short, she'd touch me later and since then I wanted to have sex even with little girls like me, so I was infected with evil at a very young age, I'm sure just like many here... and even up to this moment I still have deal with the consequences of having a life based on sex desires.... and all due to that "innocent kissing"... evil uses even what seems to be and what is pure to cause evil to spread its disease, therefore evil became overwhelmingly evil, and God had to do something to save us from all this imposed corruption... much more to add, right? I am saved (by pure compassion of God). Now, I feel even more tempted by evil then before, yet, ironically I am more able to overcome it, and that's also thanks to God, for it is His Holy Spirit in you that can help you understand how to deal with it. May God bless and continue helping all of you, and I invite you to intercede in a prayer for all of those children that are now being spiritually and physically affected by the same evil entities.

I had a guy friend back in high school and he was known for being a body builder and womanizer. He would sleep around like crazy. He had crazy stories about s3xual escapades with his guy friends (having s3x in the same room) and having multiple partners. I tried to mention God to him and he stopped me. He said “You know how I feel about that, let’s drop it.” And so I did like 2 years later he was in the hospital with testicular cancer. I messaged him and he was strong but the cancer metastasized and entered his vital organs and he passed away. That’s when I realized s3xual sin is a dangerous game.
IT WAS KILLING ME .. I decide to quit and one night , maybe 4 or 5 days after quitter everything related to sex , i was in my bed , crying in pain , asking God to help me . I wanted to die . And then God help me and never leave me since , but i still a pain sometimes , one day it will leave me in Jesus Names AMEN !

Everytime I will almost fall into sexual sin, I remind of myself in what God had said in Revelations 20:15 "Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire." (NIV), sexual sin is very dangerous and I battle it with the word of the Lord, I think about my decisions, I remind myself to never trade temporary pleasures for eternal consequences. When I got into my last relationship I was soooooo close to God. Eventually we took our relationship to the next level and slowly I started losing myself. I wasn't the same spiritual being I once was. I felt like the holy spirit was with me but not in me. So hard to explain. But I get it now

Desire with all of your imagination to be a new person, then be that person you desired. I’m serious I was a hoe I’m serious and people who knew me talked about me so bad when I walked by or drove by or whatever. I told Hod I want different. So I imagined me being a holy God fearing woman of God and started doing what that looked like. In the beginning they still picked and stuff but I held my head ignored them and kept walking. They eventually stopped. Eventually over time they called me “Ms.” I wasn’t perfect in my walk at all but I wanted a different life and God provided for me a husband eventually. I love you and I pray your strength in Christ.
This man is 100% correct. I was very involved with sexual sin. Even getting married it never left me then I begged for it to be removed from my life. One thing that popped in my head is keep fighting and don't give up when you get that urge fight it with prayer. It is so hard but life is hard. The older I get the closer I get to God. I was drug addicted and God saved me from that but after a year in a Church i had a backslip and it was with woman i've started to go away from Jesus bought myself a sport motorcycle had such a crash that i had two ribs in my lungs ive lost 2 liter blood the first night i remember very clear in my last moments (cause i though i was going to die) i prayed and i said Lord, just please forgive me my sins in the name of Jesus Christ, he did it again and he let me live cause five days nobody knew if im going to make it i had 3 surgeries. Now one and half year later im in Christ but i know how bad this is with the sexual sin i was just dropped in my old life again so quickly but God had mercy on me. If God can deliver people from drug additions, there is no reason to doubt he can't do the same for this sin. This sin isn't a sin you see people walking around in, it's well hidden. Drug addicts show lifestyle changes, their overall appearance can change. They express natural physical changes (visual). With sexual sin, it's hidden and can hide in all of us. Perhaps this is what makes this sin so difficult to deal with? It's truly terrible and next to pride, I hate it all.
To be honest it can only be hidden for so long. It will show up in your outward character. It will crossover into your daily activities of life. It starts inwardly but eventually makes it’s way to the surface. I remember as a kid thinking I was hiding my secret however in my haste to satisfy my urge I began failing miserably in covering my tracks. I forgot to delete the porn sites I was visiting on my parents computer. I even left printouts on their printer. I said to myself I know I didn’t leave this nonetheless my body and mind was spiritually being affected. I was losing my ability to remember. My mother knew and she would place things in my path to reveal to me that she was aware. I was devastated by her toying with me. There became a moment in my growth in sin where I became unbothered. I didn’t care to hide it anymore. I wonder if I’m already turned over to a reprobated mind.

@@HarlanFit the scary thing is I think I’ve already lost the desire to continue in the formal church setting and feel more free than I’ve ever felt not being associated with that environment. To be honest I’m physically alone excommunicated with no friends nor associates however I’m not as stressed as I was being affiliated with the church body. It was quite draining and the only thing that peaked my interest was the music. The word being preached from the sacred desk became just an emotional roller coaster for me and started to become a sounding brass and tingling cymbal to my ears. The blatant contradictions of every presented text bringing no resolve to my life’s issues started to be redundant. I felt extremely used and spread too thin. I found myself wondering if I’m really fit for the kingdom. I also pondered if the creator really loves us why do humans have to do so much to experience this love. The scripture declares while we were yet in sin Christ died for us. He who knew no sin became the propitiation of sin. Nonetheless the church requires us to tithe fast attend to a minimum two services a week fellowship with at least one organization within the ministry and find time to evangelize some supposed lost soul. We are told that the least we can do is present our bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto to the father as a reasonable service. But what exactly does that intel? From Abraham to Paul all had their preconceived misconceptions of what obedience and living sacrifice meant. When Christ comes on the scene he’s confronted with traditionalist worrying him about taxes and etc. A lot of these practices we are still walking out Christ didn’t even co-sign. Yet millions are barely making ends meet trying to satisfy these processes put in place by the church to in turn supposedly help members get on the creators good side. Yet the scripture declares obedience is better than sacrifice. Why are we still sacrificing like those following the mosaic laws? Yeah James says faith without works is dead yet Paul is saying it’s not by works lest any man should boast. Some pastors will argue that James is referring to the inner workings of Christ through our vessel and Paul is referring to the workings of the human flesh. Yet both scriptures are coined in the text. I don’t believe in interpretation of scripture. I read it as is. I believe 2 Peter 1:20 The problem is we have no clear understanding of what it is we are to obey. Are we following Christ whom we were taught paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins as well as fulfilled the law in which no human flesh could be justified by or are we still tied to the laws of Moses? Some of these church practices are still that of the mosaic era. Why should Christ existence be in vain by us continuing in tradition. Shouldn’t we be moving into the greater works Christ spoke about? Frankly I’m bored with the current state of ministry. The only way I would return is if I’m endowed with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It seems from my understanding that this is the ultimate level of faith that allows the creator to speak directly to you concerning prophecy. I believe when you get to that level you can be divinely given the language of any human being on earth to forewarn them of the times ahead. I’m not there yet and I refuse to get there by way of the tabernacle. I don’t trust mankind with covering my soul anymore so I refuse to sit under an imperfect human being. I know that sounds harsh yet it’s my soul we’re talking about. Everyone should be this protective of something so valuable. I feel if the creator desires me to be of assistance to whatever purpose in this life I will only take confirmation from the mouth of the creator. I will not take a sign sent vicariously through a imperfect human. If the creator spoke face to face with Moses than the creator can speak face to face with me. Moses is no better than me. I certainly didn’t kill no one like Moses did. If the creator loves me than my reverence in accepting only one voice should be enough to speak to me directly. I don’t want to hear about how we humans are the creators mouthpieces. I’m over that foolishness and it will not change my stance. The creators ways are not our ways so as the creators thoughts are not our thoughts. Why on earth would anyone give that must trust to a human to tie up their entire existence on earth following a formality that may or may not yield the result they’re looking for. I’ve seen elderly people spend 40 plus years in church praying shouting dancing singing and when they transition from this life little to none of those church folk they were loyal to were there to celebrate their transition. This is where I am and I know I am not really alone with my perception.
Tough! I quit porn 2 years ago and do not cheat on my wife. The desire is gone to be immoral sexually but I just moved to LA and I am praying the Holy Spirit guides my steps, thoughts and behavior. Pray for me 🙏🏿💕

A fornicator isn’t someone who has sex with his fiancé. It’s a man whore or a female whore. Serial dater. Once you had sex with wife/fiancé you consummated marriage covenant. As long as you don’t cheat it’s not the same as fornication. A pagan wedding ceremony with false vows no man can keep won’t fix it. You made covenant already. Not just stick to commitment.
One of the most dangerous terms ever thought of is “casual sex” sex is an energy exchange, a soul tie no matter how it’s downplayed. I was in relationships but also dated and I will tell you.. your life can be turned upside down like a spell was cast and you’ll never put it together that it could be that person you’re seeing casually. It’s real- very real. I was also a dancer in the 90’s for a short time & it’s amazing how these girls can make tons of money and stay poor & some don’t even drink or have habits to pay for - it’s a curse and the spirit devours everything and everyone involved. No matter how you try to pull yourself up and out crisis pulls you back in. It was an experience for sure. I’ll add that Jesus was waiting for me every single day. Never gave up on me.
Painfully true... Speaking from personal experience, sexual addiction is infinitely more difficult to conquer than drug addiction (and drug addiction is no walk in the park.) Don't be ashamed to ask God for help and you will receive, so long as you strive to live according to His will. God bless.

Prayers for you. Stay away from things that affect you. If it is books leave it, television, leave it. Whatever causes you to want and desire to sin leave it. Get strong in His Word. Memorize His word. When under attack remember His word. Pray day, night and in between. You can leave that horrible sin behind you, I know. Sexual sin is a wicked sin against your own body. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit when you're saved. Do like Joseph did and when tempted....run. Literally run from it. It is a devasting to your life, physically and emotionally. I'm praying for you.

If we say we have no sin we call Him a liar and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If ANY man sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ. (Yes..ANY man.) Let us therefore come boldly before the throne of grace to find help and mercy in time of need. Yes we have to believe God's word is true.
I went through a time of lusting, porn etc. and would ask for forgiveness and thought I had gotten victory, but it never lasted and one day I thought about my honesty with myself. The bible verse Jeremiah 17:9 “the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it?” came to mind and I realised I secretly wanted to hang on to my sin because our heart can deceive us first. I finally got angry with myself and the enslaving power of habitual sin when the verse John 8:34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” came to me and I rejected my sins and believed Jesus died for me. My addiction is gone and I feel sure that I am free from it because if I am tempted now, I resist and it goes. Before, my resistance was too weak. I am, however, conscious of the need to be watchful when I feel strong. Praise the Lord for His forgiveness and the breaking of my chains!
I was exposed to porn at about the age 8 and has been a struggle in my life ever sense. My father had a huge porn collection and was addicted to sex as well, now at the age of 47 I can definitely say that it messes you up mentally, physically, and spiritually everyday is a struggle and I hold on to the hope and my faith in Jesus. You know whats weird about sexual sin. As hard as a slump it is, if you think about it, it doesn’t require a lot from you. It literally just takes you when you are okay. I think sexual sin is the most strategic sin to deal with considering how easy it is for us to fall in it. I deal with it a lot. But bare your burden on your brethren and confess to the Lord that we might be saved !

I was very promiscuous as I was growing up, I don’t know why but I think it’s because my mother was flirtatious, and my father was always exposing himself to me and my sister. The consequences of sexual sins are horrible, but thanks be to God that there is hope even for people with sexual sins. For with God nothing is impossible. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says, "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? I could sense the billions deceived and in or on the way to hell for this sin. It was agonising. I have never experienced anything like this before. This is so true. I used to do almost every drug besides one, I used to smoke cigarettes, I used to drink, but out of all of the addictions I've ever had by far..lust has been the worst and the longest addiction I have ever suffered from. 16 years in slavery to sexual sin. 90 days clean. The hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life. It's hard to try to go out and find and buy drugs or buy cigarettes or buy alcohol but it's a lot harder when the crack pipe is attached to your body. And when it's completely accepted by society as something that you can do and nobody looks down on it, It's considered normal. The only way that I will get through this is with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit by my side helping me to walk the narrow path and going before me and behind me at all times so that I shall not stumble and fall into sin. And for those of you that are in the same battle fighting remember that nothing shall be impossible with God. Luke 1:37 ✝️💕😊

You are so correct on this. Moral impurity destroyed my marriage, & the spirit of it. I divorced after 28 years of watching my husband never able to get victory over this sin. I remain single to this day, choosing for God to be my husband, protector, & provider. He has been with me every step of the way, every day.
Why must I suffer for something I was exposed to at young age before I could even understand what sin was? I stopped drinking and smoking weed everyday and try to be a better person everyday yet I can't stop this one thing. I pray often for strength but can't make it more than 2 weeks before my mind becomes obsessed and I give in. Even if I manage to win a battle here and there the next day bam, there it is again. To the point I can't even sleep. I guess I'll keep praying, begging for forgivness, and trying to stop because that's all I can do.
You cannot do it in your own power but only by the power of God through the holy spirit. I remember as a babe in Christ my church nor my youth group very rarely spoke on this sin. Fornication was kinda like a hush hush, don't talk about it. Just like abortion. I believe my pastors didn't talk about these things because it was meddling in people's personal lives. So they didn't talk about it unless someone brought it up and it was quickly put in the category of the free will. Fornication is adultery against the Father. He preaches a false gospel called lordship salvation and worships the puritans. Stay far from him trust me. He does not belive were saved by grace alone. They say they believe that then they tell you you have to behave better or your not a Christian. Roman's 3 says nobody is made righteous by behavior but by faith.

This is 1000 % true. The reproach has never left. It has affected every area of life. Unless God performs a miracle I will never recover. It is deadly. I've been celibate for 9 yrs now. 16 yrs prior. I had gone through divorce. I'm grateful for the divorce. It was demonic. I applied the teachings I learned of the bible from Derek prince , I asked God to deliver me all things not of Him. I relapsed a few time's but I continued to repent and pray , Soon after it Got less difficult, the devil is still at war to get into my mind and chase lusts, but the more I prioritize God the easier it gets. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. If your as close to God as you can be, the devil may not be able to stand in your presence and he will only try to break you down by those closest to you. Continue in faith and in fervent prayers it will get easier and you will experience blessings in every way.
Try to keep yourself busy, stay off the internet unless your learning about God, never give yourself Down Time!!!! Keep giving your time to God as much as you can. You can overcome it!
Promiscuous people do think differently and therefore talk differently... I don't get it cos I've never been that kinda girl. For me it was more about respect, I respected myself so I expected others to treat me with respect. I am happy for you. This is me 29 and never had sex, but exposed to pornography at 17 and the thought sometimes comes to my head, most time even after I pray ot walk on the street pictures flashes my face. If by chance I see any wrong image, the thought comes back again. Thank God I have never had sex (soon when I get married). But the battle I am fighting now would have been prevented if I had never watched it

So true, you are never free from the consequences of your sexual sin no matter how many years may pass. If you have hurt someone by cheating on them they do not forget ever, even if things seem ok in your relationship. There is that seed of hurt that can blossom into pain for them and a reminder that they were not enough for you. You didn't love them more than yourself and your own personal desires. They may then bite back with anger and hatred just out of the blue so they can diminish you.
Prayed about this for years. This addiction is terrible and deadly. I wasn’t able to break free until I completely gave my life to the Lord. I’m more grateful and in love than ever. Thank you Lord, I don’t deserve you mercy yet you give it freely.

Lance, you aren't alone. I'm 39 and still think about sex 24/7. I think because I indulge my desires so often (porn) it just gets worse. I haven't got it figured out, but I know that I wish I could stop. I remember someone saying that sexual sin is one of the most dangerous and horrible sins not because its hard for Him to forgive but because its one of the sins that is the hardest to recover from. The REASON that I KNOW with my entire heart and mind that Jesus is real, is because once I read the Bible for the first time entirely, my extreme addictions to lust faded and died.
I am actually free. I know that he looses chains, because an inescapable prison cell in my life that ruined my heart and soul, and hurt my friends and loved ones, that took my dignity... was removed.

I lived a promiscuous lifestyle for many years. It's extremely harmful to your sense of self-worth, your value, and it is an addiction. I'm so, so thankful that Jesus saved me. I've been married nearly seven years now and we both have given our lives to Christ after nearly divorcing earlier this year, and Jesus saved our marriage 💙

Celibacy suits me fine. I’ve been there and it was like a prison. I feel like knowing Jesus needs to make a difference to your life. If you have ever experienced the unconditional love of God and his forgiveness, then turning back to screwing around like every other lost soul on Saturday night, is to diminish the gift God gave you and the love He showed you and it’s freedom. And I learnt that the hard way. And I got hurt. And society has just got more lost since then. You don’t know who you are until you know Gods love. When you’ve got that as a guide, your life has a meaning. I love how Paul wrote that he was still striving toward the goal.
Yes! Amen! He strengthened me to ONE time turn away with the words "because I love Jesus" and He took it all away from me in that moment. 36 years of this sinful need, fulfilled entirely in minutes. I was sexually assaulted and introduced to porn as child of 8. It was a part of me for 40 years. I am still in therapy and have rare lapses. I am working hard to eliminate it with Gods help. I know what you are saying is true however in one sermon you said you were tired of men making excuses for being addicted to it. I make no excuses because I love Jesus and want to do what He wants me too.

I help run our churches recovery program and accountability is so important. Sobriety is important, but integrity is more key, confession when you do mess up (not a license to sin though). this is very true, i became deranged and psychotic with the wrong person, nearly became homicidal, filled with revenge and a strong desire to kill, was completely possessed with rage, it got so bad where my body was starting to give out on me, felt like i was going to get a heart attack based on how deeply disturbed my soul had become, sleep paralysis, incubus and succubus attacks, visions of my family being brutally murdered, i was entirely crazy, until i had enough and received deliverance at a local pentecostal church. my mother never stopped praying for me. i am so thankful for her. but it’s scary, i would have never chose to come to the lord until i was forced to by the weight of my sin, that’s how stubborn and hard my heart was

As someone who has been consumed by sexual sin and knows the hardship of overcoming it, I pray for you reader I pray that God helps you as he has helped me, I pray that you stand firm in your faith and deep in Gods word. Im in tje the pit of despair now. I have allowed temptation to swallow me up. I do not know how to stop it. When I pray, I fall again and again... I feel like I'm doomed and death approaches rapidly. I just want to be free from this sin. I hate myself for this. I have turned completely away from God. I feel hopeless.

I was about 5 or 7 and my sister Olga had a friend named Natasha (both names from Russia even though we're Hispanics), who used to kiss me on my mouth when I was a child, long story short, she'd touch me later and since then I wanted to have sex even with little girls like me, so I was infected with evil at a very young age, I'm sure just like many here... and even up to this moment I still have deal with the consequences of having a life based on sex desires.... and all due to that "innocent kissing"... evil uses even what seems to be and what is pure to cause evil to spread its disease, therefore evil became overwhelmingly evil, and God had to do something to save us from all this imposed corruption... much more to add, right?
I am saved (by pure compassion of God). Now, I feel even more tempted by evil then before, yet, ironically I am more able to overcome it, and that's also thanks to God, for it is His Holy Spirit in you that can help you understand how to deal with it.

I had a guy friend back in high school and he was known for being a body builder and womanizer. He would sleep around like crazy. He had crazy stories about s3xual escapades with his guy friends (having s3x in the same room) and having multiple partners. I tried to mention God to him and he stopped me. He said “You know how I feel about that, let’s drop it.” And so I did like 2 years later he was in the hospital with testicular cancer. I messaged him and he was strong but the cancer metastasized and entered his vital organs and he passed away. That’s when I realized s3xual sin is a dangerous game.

Everytime I will almost fall into sexual sin, I remind of myself in what God had said in Revelations 20:15 "Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire." This man is 100% correct. I was very involved with sexual sin. Even getting married it never left me then I begged for it to be removed from my life. One thing that popped in my head is keep fighting and don't give up when you get that urge fight it with prayer. It is so hard but life is hard. The older I get the closer I get to God. I was drug addicted and God saved me from that but after a year in a Church i had a backslip and it was with woman i've started to go away from Jesus bought myself a sport motorcycle had such a crash that i had two ribs in my lungs ive lost 2 liter blood the first night i remember very clear in my last moments (cause i though i was going to die) i prayed and i said Lord, just please forgive me my sins in the name of Jesus Christ, he did it again and he let me live cause five days nobody knew if im going to make it i had 3 surgeries. Now one and half year later im in Christ but i know how bad this is with the sexual sin i was just dropped in my old life again so quickly but God had mercy on me. If God can deliver people from drug additions, there is no reason to doubt he can't do the same for this sin. This sin isn't a sin you see people walking around in, it's well hidden. Drug addicts show lifestyle changes, their overall appearance can change. They express natural physical changes (visual). With sexual sin, it's hidden and can hide in all of us. Perhaps this is what makes this sin so difficult to deal with? It's truly terrible and next to pride, I hate it all.

To be honest it can only be hidden for so long. It will show up in your outward character. It will crossover into your daily activities of life. It starts inwardly but eventually makes it’s way to the surface. I remember as a kid thinking I was hiding my secret however in my haste to satisfy my urge I began failing miserably in covering my tracks. I forgot to delete the porn sites I was visiting on my parents computer. I even left printouts on their printer. I said to myself I know I didn’t leave this nonetheless my body and mind was spiritually being affected. I was losing my ability to remember. My mother knew and she would place things in my path to reveal to me that she was aware. I was devastated by her toying with me. There became a moment in my growth in sin where I became unbothered. I didn’t care to hide it anymore. I wonder if I’m already turned over to a reprobated mind.

To be honest I’m physically alone excommunicated with no friends nor associates however I’m not as stressed as I was being affiliated with the church body. It was quite draining and the only thing that peaked my interest was the music. The word being preached from the sacred desk became just an emotional roller coaster for me and started to become a sounding brass and tingling cymbal to my ears. The blatant contradictions of every presented text bringing no resolve to my life’s issues started to be redundant. I felt extremely used and spread too thin. I found myself wondering if I’m really fit for the kingdom. I also pondered if the creator really loves us why do humans have to do so much to experience this love. The scripture declares while we were yet in sin Christ died for us. He who knew no sin became the propitiation of sin. Nonetheless the church requires us to tithe fast attend to a minimum two services a week fellowship with at least one organization within the ministry and find time to evangelize some supposed lost soul. We are told that the least we can do is present our bodies a living sacrifice holy and acceptable unto to the father as a reasonable service. But what exactly does that intel? From Abraham to Paul all had their preconceived misconceptions of what obedience and living sacrifice meant. When Christ comes on the scene he’s confronted with traditionalist worrying him about taxes and etc. A lot of these practices we are still walking out Christ didn’t even co-sign. Yet millions are barely making ends meet trying to satisfy these processes put in place by the church to in turn supposedly help members get on the creators good side. Yet the scripture declares obedience is better than sacrifice. Why are we still sacrificing like those following the mosaic laws? Yeah James says faith without works is dead yet Paul is saying it’s not by works lest any man should boast. Some pastors will argue that James is referring to the inner workings of Christ through our vessel and Paul is referring to the workings of the human flesh. Yet both scriptures are coined in the text. I don’t believe in interpretation of scripture. I read it as is. I believe 2 Peter 1:20 The problem is we have no clear understanding of what it is we are to obey. Are we following Christ whom we were taught paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins as well as fulfilled the law in which no human flesh could be justified by or are we still tied to the laws of Moses? Some of these church practices are still that of the mosaic era. Why should Christ existence be in vain by us continuing in tradition. Shouldn’t we be moving into the greater works Christ spoke about? Frankly I’m bored with the current state of ministry. The only way I would return is if I’m endowed with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It seems from my understanding that this is the ultimate level of faith that allows the creator to speak directly to you concerning prophecy. I believe when you get to that level you can be divinely given the language of any human being on earth to forewarn them of the times ahead. I’m not there yet and I refuse to get there by way of the tabernacle. I don’t trust mankind with covering my soul anymore so I refuse to sit under an imperfect human being. I know that sounds harsh yet it’s my soul we’re talking about. Everyone should be this protective of something so valuable. I feel if the creator desires me to be of assistance to whatever purpose in this life I will only take confirmation from the mouth of the creator. I will not take a sign sent vicariously through a imperfect human. If the creator spoke face to face with Moses than the creator can speak face to face with me. Moses is no better than me. I certainly didn’t kill no one like Moses did. If the creator loves me than my reverence in accepting only one voice should be enough to speak to me directly. I don’t want to hear about how we humans are the creators mouthpieces. I’m over that foolishness and it will not change my stance. The creators ways are not our ways so as the creators thoughts are not our thoughts. Why on earth would anyone give that must trust to a human to tie up their entire existence on earth following a formality that may or may not yield the result they’re looking for. I’ve seen elderly people spend 40 plus years in church praying shouting dancing singing and when they transition from this life little to none of those church folk they were loyal to were there to celebrate their transition. This is where I am and I know I am not really alone with my perception.

A fornicator isn’t someone who has sex with his fiancé. It’s a man whore or a female whore. Serial dater. Once you had sex with wife/fiancé you consummated marriage covenant. As long as you don’t cheat it’s not the same as fornication. A pagan wedding ceremony with false vows no man can keep won’t fix it. You made covenant already. Not just stick to commitment.
One of the most dangerous terms ever thought of is “casual sex” sex is an energy exchange, a soul tie no matter how it’s downplayed.
I was in relationships but also dated and I will tell you.. your life can be turned upside down like a spell was cast and you’ll never put it together that it could be that person you’re seeing casually. It’s real- very real.
I was also a dancer in the 90’s for a short time & it’s amazing how these girls can make tons of money and stay poor & some don’t even drink or have habits to pay for - it’s a curse and the spirit devours everything and everyone involved. No matter how you try to pull yourself up and out crisis pulls you back in. It was an experience for sure.
I’ll add that Jesus was waiting for me every single day. Never gave up on me.
Painfully true... Speaking from personal experience, sexual addiction is infinitely more difficult to conquer than drug addiction (and drug addiction is no walk in the park.) Don't be ashamed to ask God for help and you will receive, so long as you strive to live according to His will. God bless.

Prayers for you. Stay away from things that affect you. If it is books leave it, television, leave it. Whatever causes you to want and desire to sin leave it. Get strong in His Word. Memorize His word. When under attack remember His word. Pray day, night and in between. You can leave that horrible sin behind you, I know. Sexual sin is a wicked sin against your own body. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit when you're saved. Do like Joseph did and when tempted....run. Literally run from it. It is a devasting to your life, physically and emotionally. I went through a time of lusting, porn etc. and would ask for forgiveness and thought I had gotten victory, but it never lasted and one day I thought about my honesty with myself. The bible verse Jeremiah 17:9 “the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it?” came to mind and I realised I secretly wanted to hang on to my sin because our heart can deceive us first. I finally got angry with myself and the enslaving power of habitual sin when the verse John 8:34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” came to me and I rejected my sins and believed Jesus died for me. My addiction is gone and I feel sure that I am free from it because if I am tempted now, I resist and it goes. Before, my resistance was too weak. I am, however, conscious of the need to be watchful when I feel strong. Praise the Lord for His forgiveness and the breaking of my chains!
I’m a firm believer in Christ and everything the Bible says but I struggle with this. It feels impossible to overcome. Please pray for me.

You know whats weird about sexual sin. As hard as a slump it is, if you think about it, it doesn’t require a lot from you. It literally just takes you when you are okay. I think sexual sin is the most strategic sin to deal with considering how easy it is for us to fall in it. I deal with it a lot. I found Fasting very good, it gives you power, it sober you up and dried up the lusts in you slowly. This is so true. I used to do almost every drug besides one, I used to smoke cigarettes, I used to drink, but out of all of the addictions I've ever had by far..lust has been the worst and the longest addiction I have ever suffered from.
16 years in slavery to sexual sin. 90 days clean. The hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life. It's hard to try to go out and find and buy drugs or buy cigarettes or buy alcohol but it's a lot harder when the crack pipe is attached to your body. And when it's completely accepted by society as something that you can do and nobody looks down on it, It's considered normal.
The only way that I will get through this is with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit by my side helping me to walk the narrow path and going before me and behind me at all times so that I shall not stumble and fall into sin.
And for those of you that are in the same battle fighting remember that nothing shall be impossible with God.

Why must I suffer for something I was exposed to at young age before I could even understand what sin was? I stopped drinking and smoking weed everyday and try to be a better person everyday yet I can't stop this one thing.
I pray often for strength but can't make it more than 2 weeks before my mind becomes obsessed and I give in. Even if I manage to win a battle here and there the next day bam, there it is again. To the point I can't even sleep.
I guess I'll keep praying, begging for forgivness, and trying to stop because that's all I can do.

I remember as a babe in Christ my church nor my youth group very rarely spoke on this sin. Fornication was kinda like a hush hush, don't talk about it. Just like abortion. I believe my pastors didn't talk about these things because it was meddling in people's personal lives. So they didn't talk about it unless someone brought it up and it was quickly put in the category of the free will.

I had gone through divorce. I'm grateful for the divorce. It was demonic. I applied the teachings I learned of the bible from Derek prince , I asked God to deliver me all things not of Him. I relapsed a few time's but I continued to repent and pray , Soon after it Got less difficult, the devil is still at war to get into my mind and chase lusts, but the more I prioritize God the easier it gets. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
If your as close to God as you can be, the devil may not be able to stand in your presence and he will only try to break you down by those closest to you. Continue in faith and in fervent prayers it will get easier and you will experience blessings in every way.

So true, you are never free from the consequences of your sexual sin no matter how many years may pass. If you have hurt someone by cheating on them they do not forget ever, even if things seem ok in your relationship. There is that seed of hurt that can blossom into pain for them and a reminder that they were not enough for you. You didn't love them more than yourself and your own personal desires. They may then bite back with anger and hatred just out of the blue so they can diminish you.
Prayed about this for years. This addiction is terrible and deadly. I wasn’t able to break free until I completely gave my life to the Lord. I’m more grateful and in love than ever. Thank you Lord, I don’t deserve you mercy yet you give it freely.

I haven't got it figured out, but I know that I wish I could stop.
