In my opinion this is the strongest type of build you can do for him. You can mix it up a little but the core concept is what's important. Not sure if everyone agrees though. But for e this is the only way to really play him and not hate existence itself.

It always feels like Yaksha should be a balance skull, changing into a power skull when he transforms

idea to fix yaksha's domain gimmick: you can start it at any point and it will drain the tao energy you currently have, you can use the same input that you do to create the domain to remove it and keep what's left from your tao energy. if used on max tao energy the domain's range is doubled and the enemies inside it take damage over time, but you can't move the domain until your tao energy runs out or until you exit the room, stopping the tao drain prematurely

I’m just going to parrot what I said way back during your last Yaksha run: South Paw are clearly cooking something up with him, but people aren’t quite sure what they’re trying to make. The idea of setting down a domain is fun, and the transformation is fun, but it just needs that special sauce to really make it something interesting. They are so close to hitting the mark, but it just feels like some key ingredient is missing to round out his play style

The jump attack has surprisingly become a huge factor in whether or not I like a class. Any class that dives down when I jump attack I absolutely cannot stand. That and the abysmally slow attack speed and subpar damage make Yaksha such a drag.

The Red Demon of Bonk has returned, I wish they whould do more for Yaksha because it is somewhat rare and alao fun seeing designs based on Hindu Mythology in games and how they cool they are

Yaksha feels like he's supposed to be the high risk, high reward skull. His attacks are like, among the slowest. You could give him some super-slow windup for his skills and a slow 3-hit combos for normal attack that hit super hard, and his Rakshasa form speeds up his attack a little and give him stun and I-frames. Because I know a greatsword build when I see one, and Yaksha is for sure the walking embodiment of a greatsword build.

The effect of making his transform state take 30 percent less damage, almost makes it feel like he should have added effects for if he does take any damage.

Beelz id like to request the worst run I’ve ever thought up in my life. Can we get a Sin, Oberon, carleon soldier build? I’ve never seen a good carleon soldier run and I feel like having summons everywhere would be fun but so very scuffed

Mech!Alexander's beam's biggest tell is the sound imo. Very distinct deep gong noise.
