Dude your a perfectionist when it comes to movement, I would get pissed off learning weightlifting too and not getting it just right. Would be dope to see you learn more.
Zack, you're legitimately a great teacher. You're able to give concise cues and verbalize advanced concepts in simple terms. I think, of all the content you do, it's the videos where you're teaching beginners that really show the time, effort, and passion you've put into your craft.
I think my favorite part about this video is how pumped Zack is about everybody's lifts. He sees how athletic and strong these dudes are and is pumped to see them put it together.
This was one of the best instructions and most intuitive cues I have ever heard, and I’ve gone through CF Level 2. Well done Zach, I’m so happy to be a patron subscriber!
You have to realize the joke here. That you're a CF 2 and haven't come across clean instructions this solid before? No hate, it's just....nailing the stereotype in a sideways manner. Kinda plays right into it :D
@@tigahstyle hey man, I would never claim that CF training is the way to go if you want to learn proper OLY lifting. I’m just saying, people far more experienced than myself who are in the CrossFit space could benefit from Zach’s content and cues. I think there are such incredible synergies between OLY and the CrossFit space that it would be a shame to claim that CrossFit teaches you OLY. I prefer to think of CrossFit as introducing OLY to the masses (and for those purposes it does it well). But seeking proficiency in OLY should lead any cross fitter to keep an open mind and find even better teachers.
@@domihof97 the hate on CrossFit can be a bit wild and sometimes justified. But my first time being exposed to Olympic lifting was through it as well. Went from bodybuilding based lifting to CrossFit. Then fell in love with the Olympic lifts. Thankfully our one of the coaches in my gym was well experienced in Olympic lifting. Found out my foundation was good on clean to overhead and I pretty much do that on the daily to stay in shape.
Nsima is so strong. Isaiah is surprisingly explosive seeing how weird it looked at lower weights. Graham has so much power and will get so much better after a couple more sessions.
"You don't want to think so much about technique that you can't move" - that's why I love this channel. There are times to drill technique, but when it's time to do the difficult you better be for the difficult
Of all the instructional videos on cleaning I've ever seen this is hands down the best and most concise. Super appreciative this is just floating free on youtube for everyone to learn from.
This video does so many things differently than a lot of other highly recommended clean tutorials and they make SO MUCH MORE SENSE! Telander, you're wicked, bud!
Zack, I cannot tell you how long I’ve been waiting for a thorough walkthrough for cleaning. I came from 10 years of generic body building fitness and playing sports, have been doing powerlifting for a few years, but feared this movement from pulling my shoulder trying to learn. As a frugal family man desperately needed this video- love the content can’t wait to finally program cleans into my workouts!
The collab for the Christmas. Amazing that I was into Isaiah and John Evans content as well as yours. Got my vertical to 31 inches and have been practicing weightlifting. Looking for heavier weights in the future but still making sure that technique is right.
I watched Zack's other video with Meg Squats on the power clean. lol Nsima is a brown noser too Good video guys. I put the knuckles down to practice and it helped immediately. ''Strength is never weakness, weakness is never strength'' - Mark Bell.
Not strictly the same thing but I did Clean & Jerks yesterday, looking for what my 1RM. I wish I had seen this earlier, those cues for how to position yourself, covering the bar with your knees, and the hook grip thing etc. just made so much sense. Can't wait to get back to the gym now to try it out!
I've never been interested in doing weightlifting. I've mostly been doing powerlifting just to get stronger and fitter. But after seeing this video, I kinda want to learn to clean.
Great video. Please do more like this, with less talented lifters (like myself). Would be great to watch you turn an average Joe into a weightlifter. These guys look like they've power cleaned before, but still very impressive.
Wery usefull vid. I been looking help to this cj and i done it alot but self learned and totally screwed way too.. but now i can make adjustments. Ty wery much!
Man it was so fun lifting with you in person! I used your videos to learn a lot about Olympic lifting when I was first training to jump higher
ZAAAAAACK! You’re an awesome teacher dude. Thanks for showing and instructing. See ya soon dude, hopefully we’ll get some BJJ in ❤
Dude your a perfectionist when it comes to movement, I would get pissed off learning weightlifting too and not getting it just right. Would be dope to see you learn more.
Your athleticism is nuts!
Why do I feel stronger after only watching this video?

Keyword is "CF". Nobody's surprised.

Nsima looks like he's just crazy strong and has to undo the muscle clean motor-pattern/urges in order to learn the better technique.
@old man strength He's not natty lol
@@tdogable it's those duck egg embryos. look it up
Isaiah can jump 50 inches 😂
Isaiah Rivera is surprisingly explosive, and Elon Musk is surprisingly rich.
I need these teachings. Probably the strongest man whose ever lived to not clean 300.
I promise you you’ll get it
Yeah you really need to get on that.
Your best video for beginners yet. Effective coaching shows the fast results.
i followed this advice and power cleans began to feel a lot easier

Some of those reps are insanely impressive from a technical aspect

Only a little surprised to see Isaiah here but his dad was an olympic lifter for Puerto Rico, i believe.
THP John Evans out of nowhere at 27:17 how fun
Yup! My stepdad was an elite level Oly lifter
@@IsaiahRivera1 thanks for the correction! hope THP keeps churning out high flyers
I've weightlifted for years, and you are by far the best teacher I've seen, Zack. Great cues I've never even heard before.
Would absolutely love a video of the same style covering the snatch. Super clear instruction and loved the vibes from everyone in this vid!

Knuckles down is such a great cue. The whole step by step process really helped but that was the highlight. Thank you.
Insane that all this information is free. This is everything I was trying to find for years.
Zack! Best clean instructions I have found to date! Great job man, keep it up
Strength and Conditioning coaches that teach this need to watch this video. Incredible cueing and coaches eye from Zach. Awesome!!
I watched Zack's other video with Meg Squats on the power clean. lol Nsima is a brown noser too
Good video guys. I put the knuckles down to practice and it helped immediately.

I loved this video so much! Been doing Zack's programs for about 8 months now and loving it.
This is a masterclass in coaching. Striving to be this good someday
Thank you so much!
Zack... that was an incredibly fun video! I really enjoyed that and took away some good points, as well! You're the man!
Wow didn't expect to see Isaiah here
Great content Mr. Telander
wtf i've been watching isaiah since like 2015. was not expecting this at all this is awesome
I was happy that I worked up to 110kg on the power clean after 12 weeks trying to follow along with technique vids. Feels mogged man.
Such a great video! Blown away how fast these guys progressed in one session. Amazing and a testament to a great teacher - Zach!
Great video Z! Watching it in my garage for the second time right now. Doing my first cleans ever.
I've never been interested in doing weightlifting. I've mostly been doing powerlifting just to get stronger and fitter. But after seeing this video, I kinda want to learn to clean.

One of the best video about teaching a lift i ever seen
Those were some amazing cues. Live the bro session too. Always a good shout! 💪
Zack this is one of the best god damn videos I've ever seen
Gained a new subscriber for sure. That was the best explanation I've ever heard of how to do that. I'm finally gonna give it a try myself. Thanks Zack
Dude I've been waiting on this video for weeks now!
Zack articulates like no other. Great teaching.
This has to be up there as one of your best videos. Love to see the camaraderie and how the cues clicked for all the guys!
Incredible session!! I wish I could have been there. I was watching this like; I can't wait until I get a chance to lift again.
This was such a pleasure to watch!
I really love the education content. It’s what brought me here years ago and really is where you shine. Wanna go max my clean now lfg.
I have a heavy clean session tomorrow, going to be taking a few things from here and incorporate them into my warm-up

You're an excellent, patient coach Zack. Wish I had access to a good oly weightlifting coach where I live.
Man it took me MONTHS to work up to this level...they get there in pretty much a day. DAAYUMN!!
What a fun and educational video to watch 30+ minutes went by in a heartbeat
Power cleans were my favorite lift in the weightlifting program back in high school. Zack would of been a great coach to have.

Here after hearing you trained Nsima during Segura episode! BONkers.
Amazing video, a lot of questions answered. Very cool to see people with different body types doing it. Thank you
Excellent video. Saved to my playlist and will be watching it many times to learn/improve my technique! Thanks for sharing.
This was a lot of fun to watch. Good teaching as well.
Zachariah Beastlander, your wisdom is appreciated.
Independently of the specific numbers - get some guys together for a max clean and they will have so much fun it is contagious! :-) Awesome video!
This got me so pumped to include weightlifting style lifts in a year worth program 2025!!
Such a fun video, all those guys were incredibly impressive too
It is not simple. You simple are an amazing coach bro. That's it
Sick vid, it was cool watching u Coach these guys.
Couldn't have taught them better! It is surprising how fast they learnt the technique too!
The "knuckles down" cue. I haven't even finished the video yet but thanks man !
More like this Zack! Please and thank you.
Forgot how good of a coach Zach is... amazing.
Very much enjoyed your top-down process
The intensity of zacks lift at the end is insande
19:45 fucking killed him
Kid handled it pretty well 😆
Please include only Doom OST tracks for your intros from now on, it got me instantly psyched
Nsima is such a well-round SOB...! Strength & power, but FLEXible and mobility are on the same impressive level!
I'm so happy to hear coast contra playing in the background haha
Man, this is so fun to watch!
Great great video. Even if I don't weightlift,I feel like there are so many cues that could be used for DL

Amazing instructional video, while being fun! Great job!

Good shit Zack 💪🏻
loved this, great instructions!
That lil bit of ego at the end there, letting the weight float up, (just to assert dominance) brilliant. Great last lift too.
