from a theater coach and a singer’s standpoint, she has so much potential to be GREAT. she’s already good and has the tools to become GREAT. she’s in her mixed voice. it’s waaaayy underdeveloped but it’s not fully in her falsetto or head. there are moments where she slips into her chest voice when the notes are in her belt range. she’s an excellent vocalist but you can tell she lacks professional training with how inconsistent she is going back and forth between head, chest, and mixed (majority of her singing is mixed). those transitions between registers need more fine tuning so she doesn’t strain and so she can develop support there without making the switches so obvious. Transitions are supposed to be like sliding up a scale or down a scale, smooth. the moments she we saw strain were when she tried to belt it but it shot to her mixed voice instead. I’m worried about her vocal health with her immediately drinking water and looking kind of pained after singing. I hope starshit is taking care of her vocal cords and providing what it takes to make her one of the best vocalists in 4th gen. she has such a unique tone and they should capitalize on it. she has so much potential and she can only get better from here. *she’s the only IVE member who can support their notes. why doesn’t she have the most lines?* why isn’t she being trained properly to sing? starshit, get your shit together please.

Most companies these days do NOT provide proper vocal training because they feel as if it is not important. Wonyoung, their most popular member, barely received any vocal training during her time in IZ*ONE (IZ*ONE's Sakura revealed this during her interview). That's why her voice is heavily underdeveloped despite her popularity and years in the industry. Starship does NOT prioritize vocals; they prefer visuals. Liz has so much potential, but I can definitely see it not being used.

She only debuted about a year ago. There should be no rush for such a talented vocalist; I think she'll get better over time. Potential requires experience.
