Senegal's Mame Ndiagne Ndiaye hears for the first time at Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program

Being able to hear for the first time at 31 years old was an emotional, surprising and overwhelming experience for Senegalese footballer, Mame Ndiagne Ndiaye, at the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019.
The Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program provided athletes with free health screenings and health education at the Games, where Ndiaye was able to hear for the first time with the help of hearing aids, changing his life and the lives of those close to him.
