Took me two days to soak all of this interview in. Firstly, thank you Vlad tv for Sean. He is a "woke" interviewer and his questions seem to be the result of his observation of the guest. I find Roland to be a no nonsense person and I love and respect that. Oh! Living life unapologetically can leave you alone with just your thoughts, but it gives a clear conscience when you lay your head down to rest. It's refreshing to see someone else besides myself who can care less about how others feel about them.
I never had an opinion on Roland Martin but he earned my respect with what he said from 24:15 - 40:00 about the Black Greek organizations. He is 100% correct. I have no respect for the people I knew who got their ass beaten or did sus things just to join a group that they have to pay to be a part of. A fraternity never made anyone great and that's why they attract a lot of losers who know that getting letters will be the only thing they'll achieve in life.
I am one of those pledgees who got caught up when the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity pledge program was suspended Spring 1977 for excessive hazing which put my line brother in the hospital in traction the last night of hell week. He was beaten on his back with a board. That same semester a young brother was run over by a train at Grambling because he was tied to the wrong track during a Omega Psi Phi hazing incident. I refused to join the fraternity after we were offered to allow the alumni chapter to bring us in the following school semester. I gave them the finger and never looked back.

Those same "brothers" who will tell you that you need to show full trust and loyalty to them will be the same ones saying that they aren't responsible for your death because you could have chosen to walk away. These fraternities literally have men experiencing abused wife syndrome where they make you feel that obvious mistreatment is a sign of permanent love. That's why I can't respect men who go through it because men should know better.
