Thanks for your time in putting this together,it just amazes me how European- like our cities once were.It seems every city had one or more railway stations with connecting streetcars.Our cities and towns were more transit oriented ;I'd say we were more mobile then.

As I look at these photos I think about my Polish and German ancestors who came to Columbus in the 1880's. They were stone masons, concrete workers, factory workers, retail shop workers and street peddlers. Interesting to think that they walked these streets and saw these buildings first hand.

Even though a lot has been destroyed Columbus still has alot of old buildings. I love visiting the city I was recently there earlier this year can't wait to get back.
