I'm still in the process of beating it, but I know that the boss only has 4 attacks (cause yeah, I died more than 8 times by now)
- *Slow approach* - he will slowly aproach you by teleporting behind you every time. If you don't shoot it before it is close to you, it will deal damage. It will be more difficult to track his position when when you get his health below 50%
- *Charge attack* - he will teleport behind far away from you and will rappidly approach you. If you get close to him, it will damage you, so if you see him charging, go backwards until he stops (best attack to deal damage)
- *Random "omaiamu no shindeiru" move* - it will teleport behind you and do a slash and shoot the gun. If you dodged the slash but didn't hit shoot, he will still hit you with the gun, and you can't avoid that. Shooting him will make him teleport away.
- *Rappid fire* - when he spawns rocks around the area, he will star shooting towards your character. Hide behind a rock that will block his attack. What I found is if you are not facing his location after he teleports, you know exactly where he will be so you can take that opportunity to hide somewhere where he won't hit you when he begins shooting. You can also be cheeky and shave some shots when you peek the corner of the rock, but it's 50/50 if he will hit you or not.
One last tip: Aim for the head, IF you can. He will take more damage by doing that.
Anyways, I wish you all good luck getting it (P.S.: It was confirmed by the dev that it has unlimited copies, so no need to worry you losing the chance to get it)

@@bondysheepp yeah, it takes about 10 minutes to do the maze code and reach from spawn to the keypad for the boss, IF you speedrun the maze, just to get one shot at defeating it, and if you die, you have to do all the steps again, but doesn't reset the "Fate" code and the badges, since those the badges are permanent in your inventory, unless you delete them yourself, and the code to access the boss is the same every time, similar to the code you need to input inside the maze
@@vitezoman5 When the rocks rise, how would I know where the boss is at immediately? Because most of my HP is lost trying to hide behind rocks
@@arandomwalnut7373 try to do a 360 and look quick for the closest spot to hide, if you don't see him anywhere when you do a 360, then stay still, since if you don't see him, he probably doesn't see you. Also, from what I heard, if you know behind which rock the boss is, you can try to climb it and then deal damage to it, though it's only manageable in certain situations and it takes practice to pull that out.
@@vitezoman5 No matter how many times I tried, I always get him down to less than 2k before I die. I don't know if I don't have fast enough reflexes or it's nearly impossible overall

The maze is the EASIEST part of the map since u can memorize it, i know it can be impossible but the more u do it, the more u dont need it.

just wanna say that the reason why you get damaged when you don't shoot at him, it's because he'll shoot you if you don't shoot at him after he charges
Conor having the courage to lool behind just suprises me, like I cant even lool behind me having the fear that it would spawn behind me in the right time (this has happened to me multiple times)

13:27, I got to that exact hall but it was blacked out, meaning I couldn't enter. Earlier I found another padlock that had timer and needed a code. I figured that the numbers on the hall and the padlock were connected. I tried finding it again but couldn't and then that clear white entity came out of the wall and killed me.
I gave up after that, especially since I spent 20 minutes on the maze and didn't want to go through it again.
there are 2 entrance one with timer is wrong there is one without timer and that one is good

useful hint to those who didn't get it yet: you can actually backstab the boss and it deals a lot of damage
How? He keeps on teleporting and when he charges he gone
@@Rannier he usually tps facing backwards, and sometimes, he tps really close to you, and doesn't try to stab you, you can use this to your advantage
@RiskyRetro about 300 damage so not worth it for late game when he is at 2000-600

i spent over 3 months trying to get when day breaks melee boss was SO HARD i would always die between 500-1000 hp whenever i beat it i just quit nights edge event its been over 1 year when i last played nights edge i forgot about everything every step every code but it still stays in my mind as a succesfull memory thank you xonae! for this joyful and great event that you created

Tip for maze: Just stick to either left or right and u will complete the maze.

Ok at this point the deagle is giving me ptsd in the normal arsenal game mode.. the clink when you finish a reload and inspect it, the when day breaks music just starts blaring in my mind and i cant get my mind off of it. Even years later its still happening.
tip: if he teleports really close to you backstab him as it does 300 damage and backstab him 20 times he dies

this is one of the most unfair boss ever.
when it above 50% health, everything is fine but when it below, the boss fight start becoming rng-based. You have to hope that the boss won't spam charge attack otherwise your dead as hell (rock attack is same thing except it can take more hp depend on your location)
Did you expect it to be easy?
As long as you have the melee equipped you should almost always be able to dodge the charge attack

heres a tip for when shadow delinquent appears behind you: you dont have to come to a full stop when you hit a corner. just turn the corner SLOWLY and make sure you hold D or A while doing it.

@@GamerStyle113 no you get done with the maze you have to go back and you will see a long hall way you got to go down it and type in the code from fate and you will get to the boss
Why doesn’t the current mission show the blood bar anymore? It makes it much harder to kill when you don’t know when it’s going to die

how to get night's edge easier: just craft it using 4 different swords (muramasa, volcano, blade of grass, and light's bane/blood butcherer) in demon altar / crimson altar and bam you have yourself a night's edge

also after upgrading it to the true variant of the melee you can use a variety of other melees and a broken hero sword to make the terra blade

Your lying, thats not how you get it, you have to beat skeletron first, then go to the underworld, and jungle, and get lights bane from the corruption, for the jungle, you have to obtain the blade of grass, for the underworld, you must get volcano from hellstone, its a tedious process though, then for skeletron, you gotta explore the dungeon and get a muramasa, its that easy, dont clickbait.. Smh! then craft it at a altar or something.

It took me 2 hours because I got lost in the labyrinth 3 times even though I was watching the video the whole time, I died 2 times because of a guy who played a song, and when I got to the installation I found out that I didn't have one of the badges you mentioned at the beginning of the video, so I couldn't move to the other side, because I'm Brazilian and I don't understand English well, I decided to ignore it and that was one of the mistakes I made unfortunately.

Tip for the fight: well more of a note, but right as I hit phase 2 (half health), he teleported far away and just started shooting me a whole bunch, i shot him but he did not stop and I died

when i finished the maze and done putting the code, i go exactly like him but at the path where he go through it, its had a black fade block blocking me, wont let me in, i go in the same path as him the path had some numbers on the left wall

I WAS LITERALLY GOING DOWN THE LONG CORRIDOR IN THE FACILITY AREA, ALMOST TO THE BOSSFIGHT AND I NOCLIPPED THROUGH THE WALL AND INTO THE VOID. I GIVE UP

Guys if the music is playing dont try going backwards cuz if you do, the monster will be stopping you from behind, and if you go left or right and backwards, you will see the monster and he will jumpscare you.

you need the facility badge from the game "Isle" and the error badge from the game "Doors" i had that problem too but all good now

@@Darkmasterganon2 an update here, managed to get the night's edge like a day after i commented this. it is possible if your fov is like around 112-119 (mine was 117, but i think the lower is better) and you must wear headphones to predict where he teleported. and also what i did is to take time and not rush the boss
