Hey Jeff, just wanted to let you know I can still see your phone number. The bar that blurs it jumps to the right and shows it in full. Just wanted you to know! Thanks for the great videos. They’re super helpful!

Ok thanks! I'll see if I can take care of that this morning.

Hi Jeff, thanks for all your info. Our ministry was just qualified by TechSoup and we previously paid the $75.00 subscription fee for QuickBooks online. My question is, will they send me link to download the software? I paid for the subscription 1st, and then applied for our church as a 501c3. Thanks again, Pete

Watch your email. For me, it took about a week. What they do is verify the 501c3 status, and then match you up with a donor. Nice Job!

Hi, Jeff. Question: not an accountant and I am a new church treasurer and quickbooks user. Almost have chart of accounts finished. We have restricted funds that I have set up as equity accounts . All good there. I believe I now should adjust to zero the opening balance equity. I believe that line item was calculated automatically as I set up the equity accounts. If I am take that down to zero balance, will I cause a problem? Thanks!

That is exactly what I do. That opening balance is just what QuickBooks plugs in once you add your assets and liabilities. Well done!
