      Neo engines are very bullet proof.
      Stock Turbo NEO motor can see upwards of 600whp with Headstuds, headgasket, Turbo and Fuel mods.
      My S2 RB25det (before NEO) cost around 10k (including shop labour) to make 500whp with E85 fuel.

    How much in USD would a GTT to a GTR body conversion cost from what you know of? Along with making 500ish BHP? Love your vids so far man

    • @EnvyOCE
      @EnvyOCE Год назад

      TLDR; $50k+ AUD
      You're going to need everything body wise from a GTR as they're different sizes to the GTT.
      Finders have more gap, so you'll need a hood. Which means your headlights will also need replacing to suit your hood and your front bar etc etc.
      Just swapping Bodyparts directly will set you in the $6k AUD range.
      This does not include the widebody you'll need.
      Fiberglass over fenders are cheaper but if you want genuine look you'll need to sorce a rear quater cut from a GTR shell and most likely have a shop do the body work to cut/weld/mould it to your body.
      This'll add around another $10k with standard paint.
      All things said and done, you'll be well past the $20k AUD all said and done.
      This is before you factor in a RB26dett which goes for anywhere $11k plus in Australia for a stock motor.
      Then you'll need AWD gearbox and driveline or a RWD gearbox with suitable bellhousing.
      This can go anywhere from $20k to $50k+ AUD.

      @@EnvyOCE "Which means your headlights will also need replacing to suit your hood and your front bar"
      this is false. the headlights do not need any replacing. where they are wider is tapered to the front. there's no "special" GTR only headlights.

    • @EnvyOCE
      @EnvyOCE Год назад

      @twrcrew8852 oh is that true? I'm speaking at a R33 owner in this instance, where there's a difference in the S1 and S2 R33s Headlights. S3 (R33 GTR) share same hosing as S1 but different internals.
      I was certain it was the same case for the 34s but I must be wrong.

    • @twrcrew8852
      @twrcrew8852 Год назад

      @@EnvyOCE that's not how you worded it. what you wrote implied that the housings were different on the outside and somehow because of this, "your headlights will also need replacing to suit your hood and your front bar". I quoted you verbatim.
      Yes of course the inside features of all the different years and model variants and revisions lights are different. but that doesn't require you to change any body panels on the car because of it as you suggested.
      It's like this with almost every facelifted vehicle in existence. You could literally swap the various headlights infinitely without touching any fenders, hood, or bar.

    • @EnvyOCE
      @EnvyOCE Год назад

      @twrcrew8852 Well, again coming from this as a R33 Owner.
      PHYSICALLY, S1 and S2 two are different shapes. Their headlights are not interchangeable unless you want large gaps in the pannels.
      In some instances, Rep bars come with grills moulded into them, and won't actually fit up correctly due to the shape.
      I thought it was the same for the R34 but thankyou for correcting me on it. I'll amend the post to reflect it.
