I know this video is like 9 years old but seriously whoever you are, you are a lifesaver. I have a math quiz tomorrow, I currently have a C, and this video was so fucking helpful it nearly brought me to tears. I wish you good things in life. I hope you're doing freaking awesome. thank you so much for uploading this video
A negative number divided by a negative number equals a positive number. Since both the -2/-3 would result in a positive number, it would be the same as 2/3. So -2/-3 = 2/3
Wait if the final equation is y-0=2/3 (x-3) would you just leave it like that or simplify it to y=2/3 (x-3) btw I have a test tmrw so help would be appreciated:)
I think you should just leave it not simplified because the first one is in point-slope form and the second one is missing the 0 which is needed because it is y1.
the intercepts are mixed up and the x and y axis also mixed up. As in it is 'down the corridor and up the stairs' not 'up the stairs then down the corridor'
@@asaphchoi6428 ok think of it this way if you say she's wrong and you flip the points and put it on a graph it wouldn't make sense the x-int would be on the y-axis and the y-int would be on the x-axis

Thank you, very helpful and simple. ❤❤❤
Do we all have some type of test the next day lol
Test tomorrow this helps
Same I have a Slope test for Algebra
Omg this video was posted 7 years ago but thanks it helped me lol 2020
yeah, well, math hasn’t really changed that much in 7 years.
Exam tommorow this helped thank you
If it’s -2/-3 don’t you have to inverse it to 3/2 so it’s positive?

y has to be by itself (y=_x+_)
The end result should have it by itself
your so clutch
Why m= -A/B?
That's how you can easily find the slope from the standard form
Please pray for me on my test tomorrow 🙏
intercepts mixed around?#

Thank you so much for the help extremely helpful
thank you
THANK YOU
Finale in 10 minutes
Please pray for my grade my MYP project is due tomorrow 😭😭😭
i swear x intercept is 0,3 not 3,0
But otherwise good video
@@Soulartincsculptures i was gonna say that but you bet me by 11 months congrats! Lol
@@rhyanalyssa This is easy to get confused, but all you have to remember is the x intercept is where y equals 0, or (x,0).
no she’s correct here
No she's correct, the x intercepts where the y coordinate equals to 0
