This was one of the first anime I happened across when I was first getting into anime/manga. I watched the series then later I managed to read the manga. I'll say honestly that this series isn't even close to my top ten but it holds a place in history for me.
Miyuki Kanbe sang this song. She was my favorite singer actress who played as Sailor Moon and Usagi Tsukino in Sera Myu. So sad she died at a young age.

the official translation is Lucia. It would be Rucia like Rina's name, but she is named after santa lucia (saint lucy) the paitron saint of light so the translation on her name is Lucia.
she did die.... but there is another princess that was made and thats what pure is about. They have get the other orange pearl to the kingdom so she can be born. but then something happens and she comes back.. but only in spirit. thats why she is there in the last eppisode.
I think u should watch this anime again since this is the first anime u watched. Come to think of it I forgot what was the first anime i watched. :) XD :D
