I have been listening to this song with different covers, and yet I came to the conclusion that no one can beat Taps' version. He even made this song sound better than the original. This guy has a killer falsetto! Every morning, to get me going I make a habit to listen to this song.

I just watched Sam Smith's version with a live orchestra, it was very good, especially the orchestra, but to keep it 100, This version blows the original away. Tap's vocals, soulfulness and phrasing are just killing it! The video was perfectly filmed and edited too. Congratulations to the Director.

@Tayt Much It was good but it was kind of hard to hear him push his voice and failing to clearly hit notes as well as a ver shaky voice, way to much air coming through.Definitely not even close to the original needs some work for sure.

this is AMAZING! That's exactly what I was missing in Sam's version, some sort of change in the "how do I live, how do I breathe(...)" part of the chorus. In the original version it got so repetitive and I felt that it missed some more power. You made this song absolutely amazing. wow. Greetings from Poland! :)

This cover is... actually very good. Very, very, very, very, very good. This is exactly how I imagined the song should be sang. An African-American's voice really gives it that "punch" in the song, especially in the first few seconds. I like that twist on the chorus at the ending, using a very low pitch and then going back to the usual high pitch. I honestly prefer this over the original.

Usually I don't like covers because they are inferior to the original. But this is the exception. Sam's version was good, but this one is far superior.
