Thank you for the information. I've been lookin for this type of video on the M3 dash. Might have to make one for my channel now hahaha!

LOL I am quite ok with this approach. Take the info and make a better video, this is the goal of this channel. The HM team is awesome by the way, they already reached out and considered my feedback. Thanks for watching and taking the time to post your comment. Send me a link to your video when you post it 😀

@@landry555 Seriously, it’s a great in depth video. I won’t do mine like that but rather link this one in what ever I upload.
Quick question: does the “base” version of the M3 have TPS, RPM and such for data logging? Does your bike use a CAN BUS connection? My 2009 ZX6R doesn’t.

Great Video, very helpful. The system is a great concept but the analysis tool, unfortunately, falls well short of competitors like AIM/Motec etc. Not having things basics like time deltas to see where you are gaining/losing time is a massive shortcoming. Also, you can not compare laps over a distance which again makes it hard to analyse improvements.

In two of my R6 crashes, the dash connector got damaged, and I had to purchase used ones both times. This seems like it would hold up better, in addition to all the features of course. Not too many videos online going through the installation details. Thanks Landry!

Thanks for the note. I really appreciate it! I am super happy with this HM unit so far. I agree with you, I think that this unit would have more chances of surviving a crash than the OEM multi-display. Cheers!

Great video. Is the dash case made out of plastic or aluminum?

Thank you!!! The case is made out of aluminum. It’s a solid little unit! Cheers!

Great review on this dash, i've seen them but didn't know how they perform. I dont like RPM display especially while in the track. How much is the weight saving?

Hey Red! Good to hear from you! Hope you are doing well. Thanks for watching and for the feedback.
The weight of the OEM display is 404g and the HM unit is 243g. In my case, I am also saving the weight of the Solo2 Datalogger and the bracket (~300g). So overall, I am saving approximately 500g)

Do you have ABS on your bike? I am installing another unit on a bike with ABS now and the FT ECU ABS delete is causing some similar challenges

@@landry555 no abs. I changed the module and it worked but a wire was loose in the woring loom from hm and soldered it. Now it flashes oil pressure light on the dash. With the original dash there is no oil pressure flash. Very strange
