Great tips, thanks for breaking the area down like you did. I have a date with that area soon once I get on a kayak. Great vids, excited for the next ones!
Awesome. Let me know how it goes. Working on the next video now and will be up on Vimeo early next week.
Great video Aaron!
Thanks buddy
Absolutely amazing on the way we fish the same spot and the difference from a Kayak ; to a boat - the perspective allows for different logic Great video... pretty amazing how clear the delta has gotten lately. GreenPumpkin chatterbait was killing it there last Saturday. (it's what won the kayak tournament - dark jigs (brown) - Thanks again for making these videos!
Hey Matt. It is really clear in some areas out there right now. I want to go back out and fish that area again with some different baits since I know for sure there are some giants that live there. Let me know how it goes out there on Saturday with Nick.
I will - we will be much further south... however the other side of that Island of Little Potato is great during high tide for topwater!
I agree. A huge flat with lots of sparse tullies
We're gonna kill it!! 👍
Thanx very much for the insights Aaron! You guided my late cousin and his buddy about 6-7 yrs ago and they spoke highly of the learning experience with you. This shows me why they feel like that! Good stuff! Great vid! Please keep em coming! Esp if you do any from Mildred or Frank's. Thanx again!!!
Thank you for watching. I have a couple of videos I am in the process of editing right now. Stay tuned...
Awesome video. No joke about the hooks. You bend one out on your favorite lure and you don’t have any spares, then you’re in a tough spot! You should shoot one out towards Stockton area sometime! That area has a ton of character haha. Flipping into peoples backyards would make a pretty cool video😂
Hey Aaron thank you for the Freebie Friday! Great stuff! Do you use swimbaits or ripbaits much? HAPPY FIESTA FRIDAY!!!
Arrriba! No on the swimbaits but will be using them more this fall and yes not the ripbait. I am sure both baits will be making appearances in future episodes over the next few months.
I only have a spinning rod too and worms. Should I drop shot?
Thanks for another awesome video aaron! Question, where did you get the map that shows the water depth? Ive been killing the striper up there lately:) #firstComment
Hey Jac. Give me a time stamp in the video so I know which one you are referring to..
2:32 thanks for the response.
That is a screen shot of my lowrance unit using the Navionics map chip
Enjoying the content. What are was this? The are looked really nice.
Ahh…The Ca Delta…like is says in the title ….
Aaron Lesieur Outdoors Haha. Nice. I meant more area specific. Like sycamore, mandeville, etc.
Hahaha… I was like…what the heck :) It is right by Tower Park
Hey I’m having trouble catching anything down here at So Cal Lake Perris. Any tips.
I have only fished DVL down that way but on clear high pressured lakes you can't go wrong with a split shot or dropshot. The summer can be tough so keep your bait moving slow and put it in high percentage areas (the ends of long sloping points, deep rock piles or ledges). You didn't say whether your are fishing from shore or a boat..
Aaron Lesieur Outdoors I just got back from night fishing I got the notification on my phone and read your response. Crap worked, ten minutes after reading and taking in what you said I caught two 2lb bass with a black yum lizard on a spit shot. thank you!!
Awesome stuff! Keep at it buddy. It takes time, effort and trial/error.
Or split shot?
