Invaluable information!!! Absolutely priceless! This is fantastic information! Thank you for doing this. I just found your channel while researching the California Delta. Subscribed w’ the bell/notifications! Again, thank you!
Thanks for the vid. 👍 Seems impractical to run the entire delta to stay on a loose bite window for most of the day. But you can start at say franks, and ride the tide to dissappointment to get 2 or 3 hours. Also you wouldn't go the opposite direction to follow a low tide. The water starts dropping in the same direction it raises. Its a constant west to east motion for both high and low tide.
Another great video. May I make a suggestion? Is it possible for you to turn up your volume? I always have to have my speakers at 100 to hear you and then its very soft. Thanks again for the content, much appreciated.
Just a super great video, thank you for so many tips. I am always trying to keep learning the sport of bass fishing, and the delta tides are huge tool I really need to master. Thx again
I can tell you''ve spent a lot of time on the delta. I was wondering do you think you could do a short video on some things to do to stay safe fishing out there? Ive seen some videos where people hit submerged roads and others where live rounds are whizzing by the angler. Seems like it could be a dangerous place for a new person. Thanks and keep up the good work!
THANKS. 2 questions: what do you do during slack tide? My experience is that is fishing is tougher during that time. And why does it seem like the water is flowing the wrong direction at times? Is that just me. Thanks I'm loving your videos and feel like I'm learning a lot, I have to see how I apply it when I get on the water. Great Job! I love that your dad goes with you, I wish my son would guide me out on the Delta!!!
If at all possible I try to avoid slack tide. Normally if you run up or down river if you are is slack you can run out of it, hopefully that makes sense. And yes sometimes it does feel like it's going the wrong way but the sloughs kind be odly shaped and it gets confusing as to which way the tide should be running. Tight lines!
Thanks Nick! I’m new to the delta and bass boating. I been staying safe out in False river north of Frank’s track. My question is do I need to stay out of Frank’s track during low tide? Stay off the big motor and Tm only? Thank you again for the videos!
For the most part Franks track is runnable. In the summer it gets extremely weeded out and you may need to run around to avoid overheating your motor. Now there are a few openings to the track that have wooden pillars just below the surface on high tide that would not be good if you tried to run through them. Another moving obstacle in Franks is the Pete birms, sometimes huge hard masses of dirt and weeds that can pop up anywhere in Franks. I run it and so do many others but just use your best judgement and what your comfortable with. Thanks for watching!
You keep talking about "this time of year" in this video. RUclips has changed their format, so now I can't see the date of this video. What time of year are you referring to? Thanks
There are two ways to check the tides on the site. 1, the list view click California, and then find the name of the area you want to check the tide in. You'll see the list, for example there will be a site for False River. 2, the map view. When your on the map you have to go to the advanced option and select Tide Predictions. From here you'll see all the tide stations you can click into and see the tide for that area on any given day. Is that what you meant?

I'm taking notes watching these videos. I'm a youtube-learned fisherman and this type of breakdown is incredibly helpful. Tight lines man

I can do a video of all the dangerous or shallow areas to avoid when driving around the delta and talk about safety for sure. Good idea, thanks!

Shoot I didn’t know that, thanks. I’m talking about Spring time.
How did you plot your markers on the NOAA website?
