Welcome to the “Amazing Cigar Box Transformation” video. I found an authentic “Cigar Bar” recently and bought some of their used boxes. I have transformed two of them for you into high end, French Country, shabby chic pieces.

Ms Monner, I love wooden cigar boxes as much as you do.
I have collected a few of them here and there. Some of them have been authentic CUBAN cigar boxes that came over from Cuba.
I have found them in different thrift stores and yard/garage sales.
I have a very dear friend who is CUBAN. He was born and raised in Cuba and came over on a refugee boat as a teenager with his father, mother, brother, and sister.
He has told me that one his father’s most treasured items that he got to bring to the USA with him were the CUBAN Cigar Boxes that he owned.
The reason they were so important to him was that his father (my friend’s grandfather) worked his fingers to the bone making those cigar boxes.
I told him that I had plans to paint and decoupage the cigar boxes I had bought at the thrift store, and he almost had a heart attack.
He offered to buy them from me since they were authentic CUBAN cigar boxes because he felt in his heart that the boxes I had bought might have been made by his grandfather.
My friend has a beautiful display showing off the beautiful craftsmanship of all his authentic CUBAN cigar boxes to pay homage to his mother land/country CUBA.
Awwww I would love to have an authentic Cuban cigar box. I don’t think I could alter an original one. Thank you for sharing that sweet story!! ♥️♥️
Brenda they're beautiful. I hadn't been able to find any wooden authentic cigar boxes. I did pickup a couple of the craft size boxes. I went with green, and I even added little feet. I love that you added stripes. They're beautiful Brenda. I missed the live but I am so happy you did get to do a video. I hope you and hubby are improving every day. ❤❤❤❤
My nephew is in ICU, Christopher 18 yrs old, cancer. He is extremely sick and having some horrible effects from chemo. Brenda, he needs a miracle to live. Nothing is too big for God. He said pray , and believe that God is able to do whatever we ask, in faith believing.
Idk what God's plan is for Christopher but he needs lots of people praying for him and their family. ❤❤❤I love you and appreciate you Brenda. God Bless You.

I’ve done a couple of boxes for my sister and brother in love. It’s been a few years but got them for $1-$1.25 everything goes up. I love what you did with these. You have inspired me to get some more of these!

They are all very beautiful! Can't wait to show you my cigar box purses, but haven't even begun on those yet. They will be mostly very bright colors, maybe a Marilyn Monroe with black white and red, etc...
