Thanks Teach for the review. I have and love this stove. It is efficient, light weight, and easy to reclaim unused fuel from. Also have the Tomshoo titanium stove with integrated pot stand and legs. It is a bit larger and heavier, but just as good and comes with its own snuff cap. Love these alcohol stove reviews you do.
The diameter won't give you grief if you turn the circle or cylinder you're measuring 90 degrees so it's level with the screen and jaws on your calipers, if you know what i mean. As in, hold the item so you're looking straight down on the centre of the diameter you're measuring. Holding it this way, you simply close the jaws until they contact the circumference and you're done. More accurate, much faster and easier.
Thanks for the advice. It is so tough to measure while filming and the calipers are not the easiest to use so any advice helps. Thanks for watching and the great comment.
2 oz of fuel is a lot for the Toaks. It takes awhile to heat the alcohol to vaporization so that it properly blows through the jets. Try that again with one oz of fuel and I believe that you'll cut that boil time in half.

Thanks you for the kind words. I enjoy doing the stove reviews. Thanks for watching the video.
For the correct burnout time keep the stove working, ie pot on the heat.
Thanks for sharing, always of interest.
That does make sense. Thanks for watching!

I was thinking the opposite. Thanks for the heads up and I will give it a try. Thanks for watching the vlog.
I’ll stick with my Trangia-like I’ve done for the past 20 plus years. IF I use a canister stove, I prefer my Soto Amicus or the Soto Windmaster.
I hear ya. The Soto makes some good stoves and I like my BRS 3000 t. Thanks for watching and the comment.
