We all definitely have a nostalgic moment here in this hotel with our Grandparents for sure.
They used to take us here for breakfast when we were kids
Kesari bath is mild and subtle in sweetness and ghee.
Ahh.. The masala dose is poured with goodness of ghee and roasted to super crispness, when you take a bite of dose , the ghee flavour blushes out from the texture and spreads across your mouth.
A worthwhile affair for a beautiful breakfast.
Idly soaked in subtle sambar is simple yet excellent combination and works out well.
Finally a filter coffee to complete the breakfast on a high note.
Definitely a must try place for super happy breakfast!

famous pamkin sambar with idly vada.sunday you visit you can find north indians sit and you will listen only spoon sound. i know very well mr. anantharamaiah and his brother.
we will go with friends and take damroot, jamoom, Cripsy Masale dosa. with two plate chatney.and coffee. once in we take poory sagu, sagu dose. very taste one. it is a class hotel in those days it is costly only.

Always prefer to take Idly and Vada seperate (without sambar dip) this ensures that it retains its original shape, structure and gives customer the flexibility to use sambar and chutney as per their needs.

French restaurants sell horribly made unheathy sugar wheat fat based cold "buns" for thousnds of euros
A croissant in a good cafe sells for around 2000 indian rupees high end hotels price crissants at 15000 rupees! Just by build up french breakfast has taken up a top place undeservedly in west French sweets desserts are so over done
If kannadigas and karnataka govt market south cuisine with correct marketing we can conquer the world with our ancient dishes going back to chalukya rastrakoota hoysala period
*This is not their Original colour of Sambar it was hard Idil not soft one and sambar was darker side with garam masala favour before Subbu father use to seat on a cashier*
Few shameless, arrogant and lazy people who are not from Karnataka don't want to even make an effort to learn Kannada and request for English/Hindi subtitles. It's good that you don't have English/Hindi subtitles. This is not an English/Hindi channel. We don't request for English/Kannada subtitles from a Hindi channel but we learn Hindi if we really like the content and also research unlike ppl who are not from Karnataka.

@ 6:30 it's called masala dose not because of the potatoes... Masala means the red one.. Which is garlic red churtney which they apply. In Karnataka they call palya for the filling inside the dose. The yellow allu palya. Also they fill sagu inside it. It's called sagu masala dose.. Famous in mysore also in bangalore.
