I go to NCSU currently in my sophomore year. Payton made my freshman year of football magical fr. I told my dad when we drafted him, that at state he was like the TJ Watt of our defense. The playmaking and game changing. He’s a dawg
Great breakdown here! Love that you notice those little things like dealing with that flare out into the flat. As Mike Tomlin says, you gotta do the routine things routinely, and feels like PW does that. It's honestly wild that he was in from day 1 as a rookie in a tricky position in our defense. And that he's kept the job speaks volumes.
@AIRFORCENONE they even admitted their job is to keep the games close so people keep watching. They aren't there to actually call penalties unless it keeps it close.
Wilson might just be the steal of the draft. I don't know how he was there at 98, perfect lining up of the board for us. Khan is doing a ridiculously good job of acquiring talent.
On the final play: do you think it would be smart for Nick Herbig to stand strong in there and get centered-up by a pulling right tackle running at him with a head of steam? Herbig held contain, making sure that nobody got out side of him.
And how are you not going to talk about 41 and 80 in that one player where you know Hayward tackles them but right after literally they like literally Pat each other on the back and like good job man like you guys just got us like talk about respect for learning respect yeah ravery but respect
Patrick Queen looks lost out there. He plays too far off in pass coverage and reacts too slow in run defense. Defense would be much improved if they tighten up their pass defense.

Yep! I was thrilled when we got him, finally we got a top tier linebacker.

What was pissing me off, number 75 on the left side was a false start EVERY F'N PLAY!!!! AND ONLY CALLED ONCE. F the reffs.
Refs kept them in the game, THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY to keep the bungles in the game..
Shameful

@@ghostf779 is mad annoying to watch.
Love payton- he's a beast!
Don't forget that besides Peyton developing his skills at NC State, so did Russell Wilson and Bill Cowher. Pack Nation stands with the Steelers!
As a forever UNC fan - nothing but respect for the Wolfpack.....

His stock fell when his prior injuries were hung on his college career.
@ColinStaley-g2k definitely, that scared everyone off. Great for us. Just a shock that nobody took a risk a little earlier lol.
Peyton Wilson almost had a scoop-n-score earlier than that - but when Watt forced the fumble he couldn't quite grab it off the turf.
We scored drafting him.
Other teams will have difficulty scoring .🤙🏼
My favorite player!
Man that play at 7:34, great catch. He had an open lane. 90% of your LBs are going to go get the QB. High IQ play.
Patrick Queen even got hit lost in traffic on that run play. I think the 4th or 5th play you guys outlined.
On the final play: do you think it would be smart for Nick Herbig to stand strong in there and get centered-up by a pulling right tackle running at him with a head of steam? Herbig held contain, making sure that nobody got out side of him.
Our answer to the loss of Ryan Shazier: Payton Wilson.
That first play is called a stunt, a pick is basketball 🙃🙃

Herbig=savage…simple
Its Peyton
Payton is a Zone guy. Rather have Roberts on the run and most snaps over PW. My opinion
