Great analysis. They’re definitely still growing and learning. Zach Frazier is starting to become the key piece to their OL. High IQ player with great technique. I think they have a good balance of veteran presence along w young rookies like Frazier and McCormick.
@@loner7365Daniels is unfortunately out for the year with an Achilles injury and probably won’t be back since he’s a FA. Fataunu could return for the playoffs tho
After all the heat Broderick Jones has gotten, it’s great to see him come on. I really notice his hustle, that big guy is always downfield finding guys to hit.
McCormick is the one who surprised me. I thought it would take at least a season or 2 to be a quality starter because he wasn’t going against quality competition every week but man he’s stepped up since Daniel’s was injured
As a massive fan of a rival team to South Dakota State, I remember how damn good he was in college. People knew watching him that he had the potential to be a force in the NFL. I'd say if he keeps up this effort, he could be our next David DeCastro.
Really nice analysis pointing out how Russ makes changes in the lines responsibilities and the O-line picking up on their blocking. I think within s year or two we’re going to have a few all-pro caliber selections
I’m not surprised Frazier and Moore are doing great things. Frazier should’ve been the first center off the board glad he wasn’t! Moore has always been underrated.
16:09 fields actually handed off on the last offensive play of the last drive. I think it set him up nicely to take this one himself and seal the game.
Fuatanu will end up taking Dan Moore’s job. Or maybe Broderick, with Brod sliding to Moore’s spot. It guess it’s POSSIBLE that they could move Fuatanu to guard, but it’s seems like it would be a waste of his talent since tackle is so much harder to play than guard.
I hope this is the end result. I wouldn’t move Jones to the left side as he’s developing into a beast on the right side and it better suits his skill set.
They wont resign Dan Moore. People talking like hes gonna be paid top 10 money and we spent two early first round picks on tackles in a row. Unfortunate given the seasons hes having but I just cant see it happening
Steelers have drafted FOUR starting OL in the past two years. Dan Moore is playing in place of Tony F and when he gets back he will be a beast. Zach is MONEY and is nasty and fucks people up. Mason McCormick is the biggest surprise. James Daniels was their starter. They won't need him after this year
Dan Moore is not playing in Fautanu's place. Remember how we got here. Jones was drafted to replace Moore, but Moore outplayed him. Then Moore outplayed him again in the offseason, and is still outplaying him now. Fautanu has been at RT all offseason, not competing with Moore. Jones in this season got straight up benched for Fautanu at RT and is only in now because of Fautanu's injury. The Steelers put Fautanu at RT of their own preference and wanted him paired with either Moore or move Jones to LT. They may have intended to replace Moore twice now, but Moore just keeps getting better and outplaying his competition. Replacing him is not a simple thing, especially when he is playing better than Broderick. I think Moore and Fautanu is a better lineup than Jones and Fautanu, at least for the immediate future. At any rate even if they replace Moore I see Jones being moved to LT as more likely the intended plan with Fautanu at right. And we might get surprised with McCormick. Steelers love good cheap guys.
Give this line two years and they'll be elite, especially when the young Samoan can fill RT and Jones moves to his natural LT position...McCormick and Frazier will be perennial All-Pro's, too!
James Daniels is also a STUD but the Steelers likely move on from him this offseason now with McCormick. And Daniels likely gets a decent deal this offseason in FA too.
Too bad sumo wrestlers can't be recruited into the NFL, their technique for and movement to prevent being pushed out can be invaluable for pass protection.
@@vegastjg They'd probably best be suited as guards or center, tackles not as much as tackles need to be able to turn to the side when needed when rushed. Sumos can also probably be used on the interior defensive line too.

Can’t wait till Daniels and our 1st round comes back

6:29 you also see Scrowonek or however you spell his name, absolutely bury the corner all the way from the backside… love the physicality

Another awesome video, thanks for breaking down my teams o line. Love it🤙🏽
If van Jefferson would’ve just ran straight he would’ve had a TD lol idk why he slowed down and cut back towards the middle
Hes slow.

Yes, enjoyed the video! I love seeing how they all work together! ❤
Excellent analysis and breakdown.
OK these guys are able to hold off the weak Bengals defense last week, but the Browns tore them up. Let’s see what they do this week.
The future crazy with this OL and with washington
Really hope you’re right about the Steelers having a shot to win it all. LETS GO STEELERS ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Great game but it’s hard for even a big NFL fan to name more than one defensive player on the entire Bengals team.
I can name all of them

Troy would be a beast at guard

Give Props to Moore. They have basically drafted two guys in the 1st round to replace him, and he has stepped up his game and not let it happen.
@@woofer77 Hardly any fans give Moore a chance and he just keeps proving them wrong, it's fun to watch.

Good stuff.
Great video BUT do a video on why we failed to do better against Cleveland. Our line just seemed to break down
Browns d line is infinitely better than the Bengals d line.
Frazier was a wrestler and has a lot of good technique in his takedowns.
We'll see when they play the Eagles. Could be an all PA superbowl
I make no mistake about the upcoming game. It is never easy to beat the Eagles in Philly but am excited to see what the Stillers whip up against em
not a chance. Chiefs Lions.
@ if Taylor Swift has something to do with it, lol
I want Frazier to be in Pittsburgh til he retires
It's the fact we still have Troy Fautanu also, I believe we will be the best O Line in 3 years for almost a decade
13:48 Lol, you made me count. You got me! heh, heh, heh.
I would really like to see them pick up a first/high second round guard tgis draft
..i like this team a lot, but man. a beast of a schedule in front. need 3 w's.

Idk about that they got killed by Browns two weeks ago will see how well they do against an actual great pass rush defense
but this was against the Bengals whose defense is not that good. lets see if we can do it against the Browns,Ravens or Chiefs who have good defenses.
Give this line two years and they'll be elite, especially when the young Samoan can fill RT and Jones moves to his natural LT position...McCormick and Frazier will be perennial All-Pro's, too!

Today wasn’t too bad either Broderick jones clearly has improved although McCormick could’ve done a tad better

If you want a dynasty that's where it starts. Pittsburgh has the young pieces but will they develop, stay healthy and gel.
What happened to the fella outta Warshington?
That pass to Pat F. was such a pretty play. Daps to Muth, but that was all DangeRuss doing what her can do. Great play, and great game over all.
Bengals rank 30th in sacks lowkey glaze.
The Bengals defensive line is utter garbage. That is why they looked so good last Sunday.
That was definitely a cheap shot on 19!! He should’ve been ejected!!! Do dirty players

Wrestlers
Good offensive line and weak bengals defensive line 😅
A line with trey hendrickson isnt weak
Not elite yet. They are average with the expectation of ending up elite next year
Bengals defense was weak
