There was a time, not that long ago, when regional Italian restaurants in Chicago were rare, but one restaurant helped usher in a new era of regional Italian cooking, and its legacy is felt all over Chicagoland, as NBC Chicago’s The Food Guy Steve Dolinsky explains.

I was at Mia Francesca once, in Edgewater and it was wonderful! I looked forward to returning after my companion moved into that area. Sadly that location is no more but the newly renovated original location looks like a must-visit ... thanks, Steve!
