@@oberglabs I have a call out to my fellow screen makers to see who is making them. So far Susan Price has responded She sells on Etsy as PGFiber2Art . I will post any others if I find them.
Hi…I own a thermofax machine which I have used for ceramic screen printing. The mesh I used which was a blue color has been discontinued and replaced with a clear white mesh. I have not been able to get good clear images with this new mesh. Can I ask you what brand of mesh you use? Perhaps they make them for ceramic printing also. Thank you.
These screens are made with old technology, a thermofax machine. They were widely used in offices in the 60s and 70s. I use a type Riso screen printing film to create the screens using my machine from the 1970s. The machines are hard to come by as they are used extensively in tattoo studios. There are many people who create screens for textile and mixed media artists. Just search for thermofax screens on the internet. Many sell through Etsy. I sell them on my website. I don't make custom screens but know that Jane Dunnewold offers that service. Hope that answers your questions.
🎉thanks!
🎉thanks! How easy it seems!
It is so fun and very easy!
How do you get the image on the screen?
@@ve7044 you need a thermofax machine to burn the design.
Are there any services that can make the screens from one’s photos, or drawings? Would love to do this with portraiture of animals/nature.

I use the screen from xpresscreen.com/ They are great to work with. The only adjustment I needed to make is to slow the speed a little bit.
Where can I get such screens? How are they made?
