I am 64 years now and I have seen a lot of performers. This guy is one of the best of the best. F-cking awesome performer.
Damn, that guitar has been through a few wars! Sounds amazing, though. You don't screw with the mojo an instrument carries with it. This guy can rip on it and isn't afraid to. Hell of a blues singer, too.
I just found out about this guy maybe a week ago, via RUclips. I can't believe I've an old(er) man and went this long without knowing about this incredible talent. I feel robbed!!

there's alot of it,and it exploded in the 60's and everybody tried to match talent and it got better by practice,and more practice,and now its electronic gadgetry,and its working,no quality,no depth
i was watching imelda may and this was next in the line i had no idea who is but i think i am now hooked. its funny how the creators of this genre need the right people to make it perfect.

I saw Popa at Biscuits & Blues. SF, Ca. Years age and twice. He was using a Fender Vibro-King combo amp with an additional extension speaker I believe. Great guitar playing💐🎸🎼🥁

If you ever have a opportunity to see him live I highly recommend you go. I have been to many of his concerts and he is truly incredible as this video illustrates. He’s a nice down to earth kind of guy as well.

patrick jude respectfully, he’s not underrated by a single musician or layperson who gets to hear him play. He’s well studied in jazz and modality, he’s a guitarist in the Masters class. I’d go along with underexposed and under appreciated though for sure...
