Series 2a petrol Testdrive and Exhaust Sound

Testdriving a Series 2a in town traffic and urban cruising at 90 km/h.
The sound is recorded from the rear bumper behind the exhaust.

When downshift from 3rd to 2nd. Go to neutral hit the gas a little and then clutch and shift, so you match gears stopping that strike

Interesting, your engine sounds much different than my 2.25. Yours has a strong "put" sound to it.

Could be your ignition timing. I adjusted my timing to 6 degrees before TDC and it made it sound somewhat like the one in the video. Earlier it was more like a puffing sound
