  • Catalytic converters are crucial for the recycling business because they possess valuable components like platinum, rhodium, palladium, and stainless steel.
In this episode of Scrap Talk, Ross Litz and Kip Brown, live from Morristown Iron and Metal, show you the characteristics of converters and what parts can be recycled and reused.
Additionally, you’ll learn how to identify converters through their honeycomb structure. Its absence renders the converter less valuable, so you’ll understand how to pay close attention to this feature.

Good video.. i like the fact that your state is demanding proper identification from where that cat came from. This should be put into law throughout all of north America/Canada. These thieves need to be stopped. When they come to your auto recycling depot you should hold them up a bit and call the authorities so they can explain where they got that cat from. No proper identification BUSTED.👍👍👍👍👍🍻
