A nice warm shower and a hot cup of tea and watching some trains what could be better than that. Thanks for braving such horrible weather to bring another fantastic video to us all. Look forward to seeing more. Regards and stay safe
Excellent video. I remember when the Class 321s had liveries that really stood out, especially Network Southeast. But nowadays they look so plain. However the one thing that that does stand out on the Class 321s are their traction motors.
The 66 on Platform 1 would've come out of the sidings just outside of the station, possibly after being held, however some freights do go through platform 2 at speed, like the 86's at the end
When I say they are going to be removed I didn't mean that they are going to be removed from active service all together. I meant that they are going to be removed from service from the GEML
Rather than doing Romford on the GEML, why not go one stop up the line to Gidea Park, it's a quaint little station with both the GEML and the Tfl Rail 345's running through, the footbridge above also allows a great vantage point of the tracks and maybe even the nearby sidings provided you can get the right angle!
2:53 We are gathered here today to celebrate the lives of all headphone users watching this. I'm not wearing headphones and I nearly went deaf. I can just imagine the pain you headphone users are going through. RIP.
Given that there was engineering works taking place I think I did reasonably well all things considered haha, the 90's did add a sense of character to the line certainly
I haven’t been to Colchester in years. A great video for a place that I should go to more One quick question. What specific model of Galaxy tablet do you use?
The stadlers are nice and comfortable on the inside but my mum drives the shorter 4 car ones and she says they aren't very good to drive because they are so light.🤣
When I travelled on one a few weeks ago I found them very comfy to travel on, suffice to say I haven't driven one but would like the chance to do so haha
Eventually when the class 321s leave greater anglia the majority of them will be converted into Hydro multiple units called the class 600 breeze and also you can't do Romford because London is in tier 2 of COVID
@@cactustown5237 there's this thing called opinions. The 90s can still be seen working freight. I saw a ex GA 90 working a freight. Might upload the video of it soon

Thanks very much bud, I had a great time getting this film out together. The weather was indeed completely pants but you can't always win
Got to love colchester
It's a great station
Great video. Nice of you to visit my local main line. Glad you got to see a good variety of trains despite the wind. :)
Thanks very much, I must spend more time on the GEML as it's a great railway!
@@Tornado922 do so. If you get there at the right time you'll see several intermodal trains running to and from the Port of Felixstowe.
Thank you for the amazing video
I'm glad you enjoyed watching this :)

However the one thing that that does stand out on the Class 321s are their traction motors.
I also remember the NSE livery on the 321's, it was their best livery in my opinion, but the traction motors just keep getting better
14:24 the most random thing I've heard this week. Caught me more off-guard than that 66 I messed up with at Tamworth.
Not an image I want to keep in my head.
Another very enjoyable video.
I would love to see some of these trains here in Australia, but alas we don't have suitable tracks or population.
Thanks very much, I have seen a few films of trains over in Australia and it looks like you have a good amount of trains running around the country
Being the Class 86s are in their 55th year they look and sound ace still! long may they reign the rails!
It's good to see the old girls still working hard, they should be getting refurbished
The NEW Stadler trains are amazing.
Awesome acceleration.
They are fantastic!
Great video & keep it up 👍
Thanks very much
Nice shots my friend😉 LIKE
Thanks very much :)
Excellent video as always Tornado, good lord that freight train made a hell of a noise.
Thanks very much, suffice to say if you were asleep on the platform that would have woken you up!
@@Tornado922 I don't doubt that
Good video and nice to finish with a pair of 86's.

It did indeed come out of the siding you are quite right
Fantastic video! I really enjoyed this :)
Thanks very much :)
Great video.

The class 360s r not going to be removed they r going to be on the midland mainline
True
Well now they say that the TfL 360s and the GA ones will stay.
When I say they are going to be removed I didn't mean that they are going to be removed from active service all together. I meant that they are going to be removed from service from the GEML

Actually Romford has better views of the line and has the Upminster shuttle
I must admit I had never thought of going to Gidea Park before, I'll be sure to give it a look next time I'm down the local area

Oh it isn't too bad
It was bad enough for me standing there!
Wow. Three GBRF 66s in the video. I think you will take that 👍
I will happily take that haha
Very nice variety you had from Colchester. A lot of variety going on.
Do you miss the class 90 sets that used to run by Greater Anglia?
Given that there was engineering works taking place I think I did reasonably well all things considered haha, the 90's did add a sense of character to the line certainly
Berry nice!! Bojo homour there, lol!!
P.s
Did you ever watch Russell Howard's Good News?
Nah I haven't watched that show
Ah! So happy Hull Trains didn't eventually collapse.
I think a lot of people are happy about that!
Other brilliant video legend tornado
Thanks very much
Nice!!
Thanks very much
Please do chelmsford on the weekend so we can see each other
I live in chelmsford so it’s easy for me to get there
And at 8:30 I hate those trash plastic foreign bags
I don't when I will have the chance to go to Chelmsford given what's going on around the country
I haven’t been to Colchester in years. A great video for a place that I should go to more
One quick question. What specific model of Galaxy tablet do you use?
It's a great station to go to, probably up there as one of my favourites on the GEML, I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab E I believe to do all of my filming
