My short bio
Alberto Tessarotto is a 26 years old Italian pianist.
He was just 14 when he was awarded the Diploma with the maximum score at the Conservatory “Benedetto Marcello” in Venice. Then, he was awarded the maximum scores to the Master Performance Diploma both at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2013 and at the International Piano Academy of Imola in 2017.
He studied with S. Perticaroli, A. Speranza, A. Ciccolini, G. Lovato, S. Fiuzzi, N. Troull, C. Fabiano.
Winner of national and international competitions, Alberto performed concerts both in Italy and abroad and played with several violinists and orchestras, such as the Classical Orchestra of Veneto.
In 2010, he won the Best Italian conservatory graduates competition at Castrocaro Terme, recording a CD distributed by “Suonare News”.
The youngest pianist at the prestigious Premio Venezia competition, Alberto performed at La Fenice in Venice, winning the third prize, scholarships and a medal awarded by the Republic President.
In 2011 he recorded the CD “Scherzi Sonate e Notturni" at the Gustav Mahler Hall of Dobbiaco, under the direction of M° J. Schwenkner from Berlin and the production of Fondazione Q, the foundation of Red Canzian, Pooh’s bassist.
Alberto received the prestigious Lunezia Prize at Marina of Carrara, playing on Tv with pop&rock singers like Red Canzian, Max Pezzali, Mario Biondi.
With his violinist Sofia Gelsomini, he attended the Chamber Music Masterclass at the International Chamber Music Academy - United Worlds College of Duino under the guidance of Trio di Parma. Moreover, the duo won the first prize at the International Competition “American Protège” 2015 of New York and played at the wonderful Carnegie Hall getting very strong acclaim.
Nowadays, Alberto is attending the Master in Chamber Music at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome and he graduated in Master of Science in Management Engineering at Politecnico of Milan with a specialization in "Digital Business and Market Innovation" with 110/110 score.
