I'm so with you on those kitchen clutter items from cottage living and also from the country kitchen kit- they are not labeled correctly and then what makes the items harder to locate is that the team sometimes gives objects abstract names so if you're looking for casserole dish it may be called something like "grandma's magical meat container" or something weird - you know?!
This is GORGEOUS! OMG that trick with the EL candles & those vases/urns was genius!! I definitely need to remember that trick! The living room as a whole is beautiful! Lol usually whenever I do big builds, I'll actually go in & plan out the whole shape, roofing & floorplan first off camera, take pics of the floorplan, & _then_ go in & "re-do" it while recording! Otherwise I tend to just get too overwhelmed trying to figure out the floorplan on camera! Also, I can 100% confirm that figuring out/setting up clubs/relationships for a save file feels like _way_ more work than doing the builds for some reason! 😂 I actually had to set up a whole spreadsheet to keep track of everything because it's just _so much_ information! 🙈
I love a Tudor home as well, and I especially like this one. I appreciate that you took such care with it, leaving and returning to it until it was just what you wanted.
Loving this build, inside and out. I use big spacious hallways/landings as a children's play area. the science table, puppet box, homework desk, dollhouse, toddler toys, and the like. Happy 2023
I've rewatched this so many times. This has inspired a house for my game That I love. Thank you for this beauty. I'd love to see a generations build I'm Brindleton Bay or Oasis Sorings
THANK YOU for including a quick note about how long it took you to actually do the exterior. I can get so frustrated with myself for how long that part can take me.
Oh my god, such an absolutely beautiful build. I'm an amateur builder. I've built about 6 houses. I recently did a house in windenburg. I find sketching out a floor plan before building helps me. I sometimes adapt it but generally I stick to what I've drawn out
This build is so pretty! I love it! As a newer subscriber, I've been watching a LOT of your vids and this is one of my favorites that I've seen you build! Amazing job! And Happy New Year!😄
I love this bulid, I feel like it would have been better if the guest room was downstairs instead of the kids, I know the room was smaller and it fitted better in the space but I feel like it’s a bit odd that the guest room is upstairs and the kids isn’t!
this might sound kinda weird but like i’ve watched so many of your videos that i can like predict some words that you say (your catchphrases): “quote on quote”, “enjoyed”, “skinny legend”, etc. now i do not mean this as hate. i love how you pronounce everything it warms my soul ❤
By the looks of this (AMAZING) build and the decoration at the office, I picture that there lives a single mom, who is an eccentric middle aged, old money born play writer and her very very preppy but cool kids...
This builds exterior feels like the interrior would have a rich wood smell, and the people who live in it would get sucked into an fantastical adventure like in Narnia
I'm struck that the curtain in the blue kids room has a pattern on it. I never knew that. I really need to look at swatches other than the preview swatch.
Weird question. Why do you use the same wallpaper in the bedrooms on your builds? It’s actually very weird to me. I know a couple of Simmers who do the same thing. Like the kids don’t have individual personalities. I feel like you are like yeah this is the kids room. They have their furniture there but I’m not going to change the wall color to not match the rest of the house. I don’t know maybe it’s just me. But in real life my bedroom was always painted the color I wanted it. Wether I painted it myself or my mom did.
In most builds I don’t. I’ll change up the wallpaper for kids rooms. In others I don’t because it’s more realistic. For example, I wasn’t allowed to paint my room it matched the house 🤍
@@MissSimReno ohhh okay. I had a baby power blue bedroom when I was a toddler, my kid bedroom was hot pink into purple and then my teen in adult hood was a minty green. Most of my friends bedrooms growing up was either painted or cover in boyband posters. Yeah I’m that old.

I love how she’s so excited over this build ISBDSI
This is such a gorgeous build, I understand why you wanted to start the new year with this one!
I like that the wallpaper didn’t change in the first bedroom.

I’m going to have to do the same. I’m already lost in my own save and can’t remember all the sims 😂😂😭😂

As a viewer, it looks really easy. Like it came together really fast. But as a builder, I know it must’ve taken ages.
That’s how I always see it too, from both perspectives!
First video I've watched!!! I love the build and your voice is so pretty❤❤
Thank you so very much!! 🤍

2 months later and we are finally about to get a standing piano with the growing together ep🥹
