This is embarrassing. I pledged Alpha at an HBCU. We were all rivals, but we were all brothers. I marched in the band and played baseball with Kappas and Ques and Sigmas and even a few Iotas. This is just horrible. The Omega men I went to school with were better than this. Do better young brothers.

Language was a lot more tame back when I pledged Kappa back in 96. We had our disrespectful chants, but it was all in fun and the bruhs actually hung out with the Qs. In public, we generally only chanted about other frats' hate against us, but we didn't get specific on any one frat. This was rough enough where it seemed like it was more uncomfortable than funny for the crowd. I would be embarassed if I was the Que advisor at this school.
The public behavior does not in anyway represent the Founders of Omega or their four cardinal principles. It’s a shame that my dear Omega should be represented that way. Its not that they are dissing the Alphas, but the degrading vulgar language in public is not what we stand for.

Not a member of a frat but, as a HBCU grad and member of the general public, this does nothing to shed light on all the good things that these organizations do. Being competitive and trash talk has always been around between various greek factions but, there is a degree of class that must be upheld when representing yourself, or group, within the spectrum of the public domain. The things said show no creativity, and and contain a level of vulgarity that one would expect from an high school dropout, and not the future leaders of our community.

I have various family members who belong to Greek organizations. I had 2 uncles they were brothers in law. One was a member of Omega and the other a Alpja. They would support one another causes provide by their fraternities. They would cracked jokes on each fraternities but never disrespected one another not the way I just saw on this tube. You young black men are our future you can do better than this. Remember someone is always watching and they could get the wrong idea about your fraternity or any other fraternity.
And you would be so correct with that analogy. You would never see any of the four founders more especially Dr. Ernest Everett Just who was the Faculty Adviser. He was a world renowned Biologist who was not for mess at all. Yet you see what the organization has devolved into which is an educated gang of sorts. I mean, you can't be surprised if you find Ques these days who were pledged illegally or if they were even ever in college to begin with. The location is noted as the physical 5th district which is notorious for being rougher than most. Every fraternity has their hiccups but if we are to move forward and evolve....this behavior will need to cease. Pants will need to be pulled up and fellowship with respect needs to be proportioned equally. There is no need for resentment or animosity for any black Greek organization. We can all have a laugh yet move forward with the Purpose of the Divine 9. Many that you see on here joined for street credibility just to put on some colors. The real Ques move onward silently with Scholarship navigating them while lifting others as they climb.

When I was in college frats and sororities were looked up to like local super stars. The battles between frats were fun not like this. I remember looking forward and going to every fund raisers, party and show . Omega were my favorite because they were “bad boys” . But this isn’t fun this makes me sad. The real problem with this is the job implications of disrespectful chants . There are many black leaders that are managers, Directors, VP's, and CEO's of the most important companies and many of those leaders belong to black fraternities and sororities. When those leaders see young men who are disrespectful on the web (not even jokingly), what do you think will happen when they see a resume and think your org is unprofessional? Be careful, because a person from a different greek organization may help you get a job someday.

im not sure where they toned it down at. they talked about the sigmas and kappas at the same time and talked about the sigmas too.
At the very end is the Sigma diss. They threw the Sigmas in with the Kappa diss but that is unexpected. We were next and they got real quiet as if the entire Sigma chapter was in the back.

The real problem with this is the job implications of disrespectful chants . There are many black leaders that are managers, Directors, VP's, and CEO's of the most important companies and many of those leaders belong to black fraternities and sororities. When those leaders see young men who are disrespectful on the web (not even jokingly), what do you think will happen when they see a resume and think your org is unprofessional? Be careful, because a person from a different greek organization may help you get a job someday.

This video is beyond disrespectful. Yes, we all have our moments when we bash the other fraternities. But this is not praise-worthy and it gives me a bad taste about Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. I don’t think your founders would have want this behavior. At the end of the day, we all apart of D9 and looking to better our communities. I love all my D9 organizations but Omega Psi Phi this is tough y’all as black college men.
I know that the Omegas are known for being a little raunchy but this performance lacks creativity in the chant and reeks of desperation, I know that they can do better than this.
