The exhaust is awesome for riding try a dump valve right at the first bend if you can. It’s worth the power at the track/dyno you would be surprised how much more air will flow through the engine when you take 5 ft straw off the end of the turbo.
Derek T No dyno numbers, but online calculator says 587. It's run 11.43@122.83 with a garbage 60'. Since the video I've installed a flex sensor for e85, and hope to get into the 10's.
So I'm thinking about turbocharging my 95 f250 351 for extra power while towing. I'm wanting to know how you did the crossover pipe. And what you would recommend. I'm wanting to keep everything stock. And would I need to change the ring and pinion on rear
crossover merges under truck, then a pipe comes through the oil filter access hole in the engine crossmember. If you do it like that you will need an oil filter relocation kit. Ring and pinion dont need to be changed. As for everything stock, you're gonna need larger injectors, higher flowing fuel pump and a way to tune it at a minimum.
I did the 3/5 drop on mine also, mine seems lower I'll make a video today maybe to show you. It's a 96 dual tank swb, also with a 4r70w I'll probably be doing a similar build. I plan on turbo'n the current 302 custom header all the way. My question is while I'm building the 351 will the fitment be an issue from moving the kit from the 302 to 351? (Turbo piping)
Where do you get that intake is it the stock on the bottom side I’m building one myself a 95 F250 2wd with a zf 5 speed jus new to the 351 there a lot different than the 302
Its a trick flow R lower and street heat upper, available from many performance parts suppliers. I wouldn't recommend it for something with stock heads. The ports on the R intake are larger than the ports on the stock heads.
@@ryanjacques1312 I'm partial to trick flow heads, I'd get the 11r 190cc heads. But any name brand aftermarket head is good too. However if I had to choose between h/c/i or turbo stock engine I'd pick turbo.
@@ryanjacques1312 cam is gonna depend on a lot of factors, I would contact a cam grinder and ask them. The tfs stage 2 and f303 cams work well with boost for ots cams though.
Just needed to lengthen the tps and iac wires(you can disassemble the loom and shorten them). The factory throttle cable can be used but its very long, I used a first gen lightning throttle cable. The coil needs to be relocated with either a lightning coil bracket, or like I did with the stock bracket open the holes up some(the spacing is slightly off) and bolt to ac compressor and bent til coil sits flat.
@@Maverickdan73 i want to buy that intake and plenum for my f250 that has 5.8. Would you be able to steer me in rite direction of what i need for parts.
ZFG Garage oh my trucks sd too. i have a vortech blower on it tho with stock block, and plan on upgrading but cams selection sucks for sd... do you have a smog and egr delete on your truck as well?
ZFG Garage still more efficient than my f150 I get 10 mpg but I have a 4 in lift and I'm pushing 33s ive been thinking a turbo and cam would improve my situation. thanks for the reply!
Boundsyo2 still have it, took it apart to make it pretty but kind of lost interest in it. Hoping to finish paint work and start putting it back together in a few months.
wow, very similar to my build. 351w on ms2 with a on3 turbo. Kinda wishing I did a truck now instead of a fox, this thing is sick
I must see more of this truck, also you did a bang up job of explaining everything you must know your shit my guy
Thanks, will be making a new video soon. Just about finished up with the new combo.
@@Maverickdan73 is it worth that intake manifold? Or would it be better to set up a carburetor?
@@Mr.Safety. Intake depends on the rest of the combo. I personally would never run boost with a carburetor, unless on top of a roots blower.
What a sick build !!! I have a 96 F250 4x4 Reg cab long box in the same color scheme. Cheers
We have the same truck! 🍻

That's one badass red and white F150.
very cool, i am working on a junkyard 351 swap for a thunderbird. plan on doing a very similar build. any dyno or track numbers?

jemale miggins yes 351 has a taller deck height, your crossover will need modifications to go from a 302 to a 351.
Awesome build congrats 👍👍👍👍
Alot of time in to that f150. Cool as hell
What throttle cable bracket are you using? I'm trying to run the same intake on my truck.
First gen lightning

Can you do a video of how the cross pipes are run through the engine cradle?
Did you have to put your upper intake like that so it’ll fit or for the turbo??
It was more convenient that way. My intercooler outlet is on that side.
I would like to know more about this, is there a good email I can talk to you on?
How did you tune the ecu? For boost? How much boost are you running?
Aftermarket ecu(megasquirt). I've run up to 17psi.
Ready to see this thing roll heads!
All that and no start-up?
Check the update video
How did you convert the dual throttle to a single with a new plenum and intake manifold

@@GaryPanttila summit racing or LMR, just buy the lower intake for a 5.8 and the 5.0 upper is the same.
So did you buy the trick flow lower and upper for 5.8
Are you running a pcv or you using breathers
hello... the truck has maf sensor or map sensor..?
The gurus it is speed density (map) with the megasquirt.
Any updates!? I have some questions about your truck....
None really, hurt the motor a few month back, will be pulling it soon to fix it.
That's sweet I'd love to do something like is but I'd ditch the efi and my trans is an aod
Nice truck!!!!
Slick setup
I totally wanted to hear it run
Check my other videos to hear it.

is your truck on maf or speed density?
speed density
ZFG Garage oh my trucks sd too. i have a vortech blower on it tho with stock block, and plan on upgrading but cams selection sucks for sd... do you have a smog and egr delete on your truck as well?
@@EpikKingRBLX I have a stand alone ecu running on speed density. Cam selection is not an issue for me. All emissions have been deleted.
ZFG Garage Thanks for replying, I’m trying to get similar power as you, is your truck a good daily as well?👍🏽
How much for a diagram of the Megasquirt?
Finally got the shift kit in the 4r70w
Would also be interested in a diagram.
how much more fuel efficient is it if it is at all?
Kelley Grosso it is not more fuel efficient, I get around 14mpg mixed and 17 highway when driving easy.
ZFG Garage still more efficient than my f150 I get 10 mpg but I have a 4 in lift and I'm pushing 33s ive been thinking a turbo and cam would improve my situation. thanks for the reply!
Unfortunately it wont adding a turbo will never increase fuel economy, adding more air = adding more fuel.
What happened to the Maverick??
Boundsyo2 still have it, took it apart to make it pretty but kind of lost interest in it. Hoping to finish paint work and start putting it back together in a few months.
Top speed? 0-60?
Not sure of top speed, the fastest I know I've gotten up to is 137. 0-60 I would estimate in the 3-4 second range. Does 0-100 in 7.3 seconds.
Ohh shit, nice
@@Maverickdan73 holy fuck
Hey it almost looks like my truck except my truck is a long bed.
I have questions how can I contact you
good shit !!!
What’s the hp &tq numbers and boost psi?
Horsepower is estimated by track times and weight at 587hp on 14psi. No idea on torque, probably in the 500-600 range.
Badass
ZFG Garage what's your track time's.
willy hiebert 11.43@122.83
Thats pretty fucking incredible man... especially with that tranny lol
Sick
yes baby I have a 63 ford I want to turbo
Merry Christmas
should have gotten 205 heads
Already had the 185s left over from 302 project, so i figured I'd use em. Otherwise yes 205s would have been better.
