I can't find an affordable F6 so the F5 is my main 35mm body. Picked one up for less than $250 and I can't see the need to upgrade to the F6 short of one falling on my lap. Great to see people keeping film alive for more than just street photography.
Thank you for sharing, I have recently sold both my F100 and ordered the F6. (Partly also because the F100 can't leave the leader out, but the F6 can.)

Cool video and very enjoyable to watch, would have been great if you shared some scanned photos though 🙂 Been doing more film lately, mostly with the Nikon F3, FM2 and Olympus OM1 and I'm considering a modern film camera as well, I was gonna go with the F5 as prices are far cheaper compared to the F6 but the settings imprinted between the frames is a really nice feature, so is the smaller size. Miss my Nikon D700 which should be very similar to the F6 and those AF-S F glass are so "cheap" compared to what they used to be. Thanks for sharing 🙂
@@myweekonfilm i shot lots of Velvia 50/100 and Provia 100 & 400 on my Bronica 6x7 and it’s maybe the most beautiful slide films I ever used. Unfortunately I couldn’t test medium format Kodachrome but tested a few rolls of 16mm motion picture Kodachrome for a post student movie back in 2005. I recently tried E6 slide film on my 617 camera but the lighting is very hard to control on a wide angle panoramic scenery. It’s great though when the shot comes out ok 👍

thanks for watching and keeping film alive too!
“I haven’t taken a single shot yet” that’s perfect photography.
Almost perfect*
so where are the photos
That is a Disneyland for nature photographers! Awesome place and great video! I would have loved to see a few more of those shots you took.
Thanks for the feedback, Jan! I haven’t gotten the images back from the lab yet. My next video will be much longer with my shots at the end 🤞🏻
Love to get that lens one day....big$$$$$
Closest body I have to the F6 is my D700....
I love it too. Found it used locally and had to take the leap!

Thank you for watching! There are so many fantastic features with the F6. That’s one I’ve never needed yet, but I might someday
So could F5

@@myweekonfilmPs. I saw them in the next video, thanks for posting and sharing, nice shots and well done!
What focus modes have you found to be most successful?
I use single point and AF-S primarily. But for quick moving subjects like birds, I will sometimes flick it over to 3D tracking with AF-C
How to buy this in 2023
I want that hat - where to find?
I bought it in Ireland
Like your show, something different
thanks!
Not even a single photo in this video. I mean what's the point of telling us you have Velvia 🙄
the next video I posted has the results
Please do I would love to see the results as well. Ektar 100 is also an amazing saturated C41 film
It’s already up! It’s my next video!
