The title is a pun.
“Bajaj” is what auto rickshaws are commonly called in Indonesia.
“Baja” is the Indonesian word for steel.
So the title would mean: “Red Bajaj Knight” / “Red Steel Armored Knight” (or Red Armored Knight)
Also, I think I saw the finale for this on TV as a kid, or at the very least a season finale. The robot goes into a UFO or something? It was some sort of high-tech base at least. My memory of it is really hazy, sorry.
I recall the very last scene of the episode had some people freaking out over the weird shaking and noises the bajaj were making, and the friends of the robots calmed them down explaining they were just transforming. Somehow that worked, I guess? I mean, at least the bajaj weren’t exploding I guess, but seeing them turn into giant robots would be a pretty big surprise imo.
Yeah, bajaj plural. I remember there was another robot that turns into a bajaj which I don’t think is shown here. He probably comes later. I think he was good guy, but I’m not sure. At the very least he teamed up with the Red Bajaj for the finale.
Oh by the way, the mcguffin is called the Cosmos Pearl.

They call the Auto Rickshaws "steel"? Well I guess that's no different than in the west where sometimes cars are referred to as "wheels" or "whip".

A note I would like to add, "Satria Bajaj Merah" is a pun on the name, Baja means steel or plating, but once you add another j to make it Bajaj it becomes the vehicle, the car that it transform into which is called the bajaj or bajai depending on dialects (same pronounciation though)
that is also a pun on the Indonesian title for "Kamen Rider" i think, which is "Satria Baja Hitam"
It's always nice to see DiamondBolt go back to his roots with certain videos and talk about Transformers.
Not that I hate the new content or think that he should've stuck with TF content but it does give me a certain amount of nostalgia seeing him talk about TF again.
Same, hell it was the passion he showed for the franchise on his videos that made me return to the community
I started watching him when he was making those videos; it makes me happy to see how much his channel has grown.
As an indonesian, and a fan of Transformers, this was hilarious. I didn't even know this existed until today.
They used a power rangers stone to summon Megatron, lol. Also I love how half of the robot animation looks like it used motion capture to get them to move more realistically, and then the other half is more glitchy than a Gmod character!
I'm an Indonesian yet, I barely remember thing like this existed. There are probably more of this existed, probably aired on MNCTV back on 2000s or 2010s, probably 2010s because I somewhat remember watching this back when I was a kid.

Also you gonna give this show credit they did the term "Robots in disguise" correctly by having all the robots turn into vehicles commonly seen on Indonesian roads unlike the bay-formers.
Ok but that's not an issue of the bayformers movies. Literally every transformers show or movie has characters, who transform into unusual cars
there are actually a lot of live-action Transformers rip-offs around the world which one of them I discovered originated from Malaysia called "MANTERA".

As an Indonesian, I think the "Bajaj" in the title actually refers to the red vehicle it transforms into. I think Google translate confused it for "Baja" which means steel or armor. Hope this helps

Satria bajaj merah(Satria is knight/warrior, bajaj is the vehicle name, merah is red) was a wordplay of Satria baja hitam ( black steel knight) which was the adapted name of Kamen Rider Black in indonesia
Seeing the Ironhide rip-off makes me want his vehicle mode to be either a British single decker bus or an old London routemaster. Then we could have more voyager class toys that look like voyager class toys

The "auto rickshaw" is also known as a "tuk-tuk" (at least by tourists in Thailand).
I believe the CG models are cheap ones, available online, which are often used in cheap RUclips/mobile/Steam "asset flip" games (sic) or videos.
Tuk-tuk is very much a completely different vehicle, the so-called "auto rickshaw" is actually a Bajaj (same as the one on the title of the show).
Meaning that the actual translation of the show would be "Red Bajaj Warrior" or "Red Bajaj Knight"
_Edit: I forgot to mention, "Bajaj" is what Indonesians call them and it's pronounced as "Bah-jay"_

So not being Indonesian but I found out something, this show's title might not even be referring to transformers but it might actually be referring to kamen rider because when googling this it instantly leads you to kamen rider's Indonesian dub and the title of the dub translates to black armor warrior, so this show probably might be an attempt to cash in on kamen rider's success 🤣
Megatron is playing a transformer game and has all the cheat codes to absolutely destroy the red armor warrior but he forgot this was a dark souls game he can’t win

I love how the main robot is just a little Tuk Tuk, and yet it transforms into a red bumblebee.
It was not cancelled, what i remembered there is more episode of it, in the mid season the robot doesn't even there it's just vehicle talking and the kids do bunch of slice of life thing like going to zoo and other things

okay, for the name of this series is literally a parody of Indonesian's dub of Kamen Rider Black RX' title (Satria Baja Hitam).
Hitam = Black, Merah = Red,
and Bajaj = TukTuk, meanwhile Baja mean Steel or Metal. so yeah google translate probably misstook a translation

The indonesian title is a pun of KAMER RIDER TITILE in indonesian, let me explain.
in the 90s or early 2000 KAMER RIDER BLACK is aired in indonesia and it become a massive hit, the indonesian title for the show is SATRIA BAJA HITAM or in english BLACK STEEL WARRIOR (SATRIA=WARIROR , BAJA=STEEL, HITAM=BLACK) *i dont know why they put steel in the title*.
the indonesian title of this bootleg is SATRIA BAJAJ MERAH roughly translate to RED BAJAJ WARRIOR (SATRIA=WARIROR , BAJAJ=TUKTUK"motorized 3 wheel vehicle", MERAH=RED).

The translation of the title is a bit wrong, Satria Bajaj Merah (as seen in 0:51) translates as The Red Bajaj Warrior/Knight (Bajaj being a kind of indonesian tuk tuk/rickshaw)
after having done a quick look in these "indonesian knockoff" it's clear it's cheap stuff done to entertain the local children for a bit, but the people that work on it actually do try
you can feel the underpaid people working in post "for experience in the field", plus all of the 'infiltrating' from other franchise
Can you please watch and review Bima Satria Garuda and it's sequel Satria Garuda Bima X? It's an Indonesian Tokusatsu series that was based on Kamen rider, it was pretty good especially the sequel
