My first husband was like that, I had to get my 7 yr old to heat me up some soup when I had the flu. I divorced him and married a North westerner, never been more cared for in my life. Southern men are supposed to be gentlemen, well I must've found the worst one in the whole state of Florida. In my experience the gentleman stuff is just a courtship manner, after ur married it all goes to hell in a handbag.
