OMG I had such a crush on Donny Osmon when I was a kid because of this movie!! lol I always was jealous of the kids in the audience because there were able to see all of the characters up close! I love this movie, I used to see it EVERY DAY when I was a kid!

I actually had the opportunity to perform in this play with Donny Osmond and Sam Harris with my choir....we auditioned and was one of 4 choirs to be chosen....when they brought it back with the 2nd generation of Osmonds and Debbie Gibson as the narrator they actually called out choir to perform with them instead of having us to audition! Such a WONDERFUL experience!!!! And of course I STILL remember all the words!!! Hahaha

I did four shows of this play I was in the background, my old friend and I had two CDs of the play, we could've played any part the second year with other 2 shows if we were given the chance. It was a lot of fun,especially after a few people stopped being a pain.

We watched the dvd in Drama class, because it was one of the teachers favorite movies and it was at the end of the year. I had about three classes after Drama and I annoyed everyone by memorizing these songs after we watched it. Love this movie and the musical!

When Donny Osmond was in Toronto performing as Joseph my grade 7 class went to see it. It was his last couple weeks as Joseph and there was a dedicated seat for him. My friend was in it, I was sitting beside her, so we got to meet Donny! He's amazing and friendly.. During the actual performance he asked all of us to laugh when the Pharaoh says you have a little rock and roll in ya..so we did and the show stopped for a brief moment. Donny was in shackles and laughing during that moment.

Yeah, that's what I am saying. I mean, if you ask who Cain's wife was. The answer is most likely his sister. But, nobody wants to tell little kids that, heck most adults don't even want to hear that, because it just seems impossible for Biblical characters to do such things. And, so they try to ignore it.

Listened to Joseph till I was about 8 or 9 as it was the only tape we had that we listened to regularly. The original 1974 recording with the killer funky basslines. Better than Jesus Christ Superstar IMHO. Honestly still my favourite record of all time (and we still have the tape!).
