The ultimate purpose of becoming an IAS officer and preparing for it is to address societal issues and identify deficiencies in the infrastructure of the entire district, including those of coaching centers, from which these officers are products. During interviews for IAS aspirants, a common question is why they have chosen the field of civil service. I believe that nowadays, many so-called reputed teachers lack a genuine cause for becoming IAS officers. They are primarily motivated by the desire for reputation and maximum profit, though there are always exceptions. May God grant us all the right wisdom.
